Reviewed on GoogleLoved every bit of our stay here. We stayed at the cottage. Thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding environment, the spa, the fireplace. Just couldn’t enjoy much of the view and terrace due to the rain. Nevertheless, it is quite a cosy place to stay. Everything you will need for a stay is available. For breakfast, there were some breads, butter, spreads, jams available along with 2 eggs in the fridge which you can cook. Oil, salt and pepper were also available for cooking along with all the needed utensils. Only thing I wish was there was a nonstick pan for cooking eggs. All the pans available were stainless steal only. Also, one thing which although we complied to but didn’t like was a note pasted in the kitchen which directed the guests to not only wash the dishes but also place them from wherever you take them out. If you claim to be a 4-star, as mentioned here on google, you dont ask your guests to do such kind of stuff unless you are a regular air-bnb. Nevertheless, no regrets. We stayed for one night only and the stay was awesome!

Reviewed on GoogleWe decided on a spontaneous overnight trip to Kingaroy, primarily to dine at Whipbird (first time ever, an amazing place that I highly recommend).
Based on the glowing reviews, I locked in a one-night stay at Hillview Cottages, opting for The Church. FYI, the Church and The Cottage are great for couples, The Dairy is for larger groups.
Located 10 minutes outside of Kingaroy township, the establishment sits highly perched on a large acreage property, with stunning rural views that stretch for many miles. Although all three buildings are reasonably closely situated, they are tactfully screened and isolated to ensure privacy and tranquillity.
The owners, Sheralyn and Daniel, are truly lovely people and we all chatted for over half an hour before even checking in. Down-to-earth, easygoing and genuine, they were a pleasure to meet.
The Church itself was awesome. Tastefully renovated with cosy, quaint styling and an incredibly comfy bed. All amenities were available, including stove, oven, microwave, spa bath, TV, fireplace, aircon, and more. There’s also a communal laundry, private BBQ and outdoor seating. A substantial breakfast, and small tasting jug of local port, are included in the price.
Overall, Hillview Cottages ticked all the boxes. It was a unique and impressive venue, run by great people in a beautiful part of the world. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and, should we return to Kingaroy, have no doubt we will book there again.

Reviewed on GoogleA perfect place to unwind! The “church” which we stayed in was beautifully done and got all the wonderful things you want including a spa, heated blankets, fully equipped kitchen, local port wine, chocolates, breakfast basket and more importantly the impressive hill views from the front porch.

Reviewed on GoogleThe most wonderful spot to relax and recharge. The hosts Dan & Sharon were so welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. The fireplace and spa bath in The Church were perfect for a chilly winter weekend, we’ve already recommended this lovely spot to friends and family!

Reviewed on GoogleFirst night the roof leaked and we got wet. 2nd night, no cold water in the shower and to top it all off a loud party in the barn on the property.

Reviewed on GoogleBeautiful location to be able to lose yourself for a few days.
Helpful ReviewThe hosts are so lovely and nothing is too much hassle. They make suggestions of places to go for food and leisure and they make recommendations of things to do on the property. Including getting a picnic hamper delivered to the property and a soloist to enhance your moment.
Reasonable prices, considering the fridge is stocked and each cottage has a spa, full kitchen and laundry.
Wonderful.
