Reviewed on GoogleEverything was perfect. Arrived late with no shops open, which the owners set us on our way to a shop so we wouldn’t starve. Shower pressure was amazing and as someone who suffers from Arthritis woke in the morning with no pain or stiffness. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful cabin that ticks all the boxes.

Reviewed on Google(Translated by Google) It was a very nice place to stay with everything you could need. We saw the alpacas from the terrace. Checking in and out was hassle free. We only met the owner upon arrival. But be careful, please shop beforehand and order nice weather 😉. Thank you to the owners for a great comfortable stay despite the very bad weather.

Reviewed on GoogleI stayed here for 3 nights and it was such a nice place to stay, the Rose Cabin was set up beautifully, there is nothing I could fault, made even better only by the outlook being over the alpacas yard & the owner was so hospitable. I will have no hesitation in recommending this place to everybody!

Reviewed on GoogleMy wife and I stayed here in the Rose Cabin during August 22 and loved it. The rooms are really well equiped with cooking facilities including a BBQ on the deck. The rooms are also very clean and well maintained. The hosts Steven and Jo are there to help if there are any issues. There is also a great deal to keep you busy while there, you drive’s to the Gordon Dam among others, The Mt Field National Park is 10 minutes away as well as the Junee Cave just out town. If your after a Pub Meal the National Park Hotel is also 10 minutes away. I would highly recommend the Maydena Mountain Cabins.

Reviewed on GoogleAbsolutely friendly owners who ensured we had everything we needed, and the Rose Cabin was large, comfortable and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Perfectly situated halfway between the East and West coasts of Tasmania, this was the perfect stopping point on our way across to the west. Highly recommended.

Reviewed on GoogleNice and super clean cabin. The owner was very friendly and shared with us her knowledge about her alpacas, cute little creatures. Recommend this place as it is very close to the walks and more importantly, the pub which is down the street 👍

Reviewed on GoogleStayed for 2 nights. A cosy clean getaway location in Maydena. The cabin is well appointed for self catering and also in close proximity to fabulous evening dining at “The Giant’s Table” You will be staying in close proximity to Mt Field Nation Park and its hiking/walks as well as Mountain bike trails. Enjoyed looking out toward the mountain from our verandah while enjoying an afternoon beverage and communing with Stevans Alpaca’s.

Reviewed on GoogleThe most friendly, kind and lovely hosts that we have had the pleasure of meeting. We fed the alpacas in the morning, and we were not rushed at all, and we were able to pat them. The accommodation was cosy and comfortable, with the ability to cook meals. It is in a great location near plenty of nature walks. We can’t wait to come back the next time we visit tassie.

Reviewed on GoogleStayed two nights at the Lavendar cabin. It was beautifully furnished with all the amenities I needed. Stevan and Jo were kind enough to let me join in on feeding the alpacas in the morning. The location was so close to everything I managed to do the Needles, Marriott falls, Junee Caves and Mt Field east track all in one weekend. Thank you for your hospitality Stevan, Jo and the alpaca girls! Definitely worth a revisit in the future.
