Highly recommend this accomodation, we stayed between the 30th of June and the 4th of July… and we had a great time, everything was as we liked it, the views are amazing, the hosts Jeff and Fiona are more than helpful and the little possum who had made itself comfy in the woodshed was very cute…we will definitely be returning 🙂

Fiona and Jeff are fabulous and welcoming hosts. We had such a relaxing weekend in a quaint cottage nestled amongst beautiful trees drinking red wine by a comforting log fire. Can’t wait to do it all again soon.

We have been coming for one and half decades now. The smells, the area, the fireplace, huge verandah, gorgeous kitchen, loft, crisp beds, bright big windows, views, I could go on and on….are truly amazing. A humble but enchanting place, I have stayed in every cottage and each one makes you fall in love with it and never want to leave. Our favourite place on Earth. Many memories here, especially with my dogs who are both passed now.

Thank you for an incredible stay!

I don’t normally leave reviews- but every now and then you have an experience that is so easy and enjoyable that I have to share!

Last minute booking, and found the whole experience a pleasure right from the beginning.

Such a great cottage, a short drive away from the coast and some wee townships nearby.

We spent our time going on some spectacular bush walks and hanging out on the beach near Lorne.

The accommodation was ideal! Cosy while roomy, clean, crisp sheets, magnificent view of the valley and just right for myself and my little dog.

I was really sad to leave, and hope to be back there for a longer stay very soon! (Just plotting leave from work!)

    Thanks again !

    Adrian

Great little spot. Good for a getaway with plenty of markets in nearby towns such as Birregurra and even not too far from Lorne for a quick dip.

A truly serene spot with a massive covered deck offering panoramic sky views over trees and paddocks, with cows and the odd kangaroo. Plenty of birds not seen near Melbourne, like the Gang Gang Cocky.
Gorgeous 22 minute drive across Otway Ranges into Lorne.
Whether you listen to the sound of rain or the sound of silence, this rustic cottage shines as a place to gently recuperate.
