Wonderful hosts greeted us roadside for an intro chit chat. We meandered down through the pine forest & huge bamboo stands to our spacious cottage. Drop your bags, there’s chilled wine & beer ready & waiting, relax to the birdsong on the patio. 5-10 min drive if you need groceries from Ravenshoe, there’s a fridge-freezer & you have a full kitchen with everything you need for a walk up start. (condiments galore, oils, coffee, cookies, cereal, duck food!). Didn’t think I would use the heated spa pool in summer – got in & loved it! Had aspirations of doing some local walking tracks – ended up on the property most of our stay as it was such a good vibe. The pond was a little low at this time of year, but ducks etc still showed up. Like so many others have said – “We will be Back!”.

A quaint bnb with an “old school” feel to it. Very cosy, private, relaxing. Lots of animals and our doggie was allowed. 🙂

Loved it. Best Breakfast in Australia, enough for lunch. Fine room plus your own private platypus.
