Reviewed on GoogleI already had high expectations for the woodshed cabins after reading previous reviews, after spending the long weekend there, my expectations were exceeded!
Our cabin was very clean & new but with a retro / vintage vibe.
With the peacefulness & amazing views, the serenity was unreal
Highly recommend to anyone including families as there are even games & activities to entertain the kids.
Thank you Chris & Julie for the wholesome experience.

Reviewed on GoogleA lovely place to stay if you are not wanting to stay in town. Peaceful bush setting but still close enough if you want to go for a coffee or something to eat. About a 5 to 10 minute drive to town or for those feeling adventuress try the long bush walk which I think is almost 7km to town but in some parts steep as it takes you to the top of the gorge. There was everything we needed in the cabins and we took our dog too which was a great adventure for him. Hosts are lovely and very helpful.

Reviewed on GoogleOur family had the most delightful time last week at the Woolshed Cabins. It was the first time we brought our kelpie Blade on holidays…we all loved walking through the beautiful property and then exploring all the wonderful walking options in and around Beechworth. The cabin was cosy and had everything we needed for our short break. My son loved the outdoor fire pit and games available. No wifi meant no computer screens and my son didn’t even complain about it because there was so much to do! The enclosed verandah with a gate was a winner when we had to leave for short periods so Blade had a bit of space and security during these times. Thanks to Jules who helped us so much with Blade and tips of what to see and do in the area. Highly recommended!

Reviewed on GoogleWonderful accommodation set in a superb bush landscape just outside of Beechworth! We had a thoroughly relaxing time at the Woolshed Cabins with our greyhound, who got to go on some fabulous walks and swims around the forests nearby. Chris and Jules are fantastic hosts, very friendly with heaps of local advice on hikes, dog walks, bike rides and historical landmarks to check out during our visit. Highly recommended!

We stayed as a family with 2 kids and a dog. Lots of riding options close by and generally a really nice place to stay. Close to Beechworth but just out of the hustle and bustle.

Reviewed on GoogleA lovely spot to stay. Only 4 cabins makes for a nice quiet holiday, and no phone or internet means quality family time. Jules and Chris are lovely and if you ask nicely they may even loan their prospecting kit so you can pan for gold down by the creek.

Reviewed on GoogleA great weekend away. We arrived around 9pm and Chris and Jules had made sure the heater was on for us. Really nice property, close to town and some of the great natural features of the area. Woolshed falls MTB trail right on your doorstep. Good facilities and pet friendly. Chris suggested an array of activities and sights when I made the booking. Very accommodating, hope you get away for that break soon 😁

Really appreciate you taking the time for a review Nathan. When we travel away we always think it would be great to find out the “local favourite hangouts”. We are always happy to share the many hidden gems, trails, fossicking, walks and history in our part of North East Vic. Hope to see you back sometime..

Reviewed on GoogleOur group of 10 cyclists had a wonderful night at the cabins in March earlier this year. We loved the setting (peaceful in natural bush); the aesthetics of the cabins (practical floor plans and gorgeously appointed with vintage and retro items); and spending the evening using the barbecue and fire pit. Sitting outside as the nearly-full moon rose was pretty special. The hospitality shown by hosts Chris and Jules was outstanding. Staying at the cabins was a highlight of our 6-day cycling trip – we’d love to return someday!!

Reviewed on GoogleAwesome place, with even better hosts. A unique Australian location with close links to both the indigenous and colonial history of the area.
Did I mention it’s also at the bottom of a downhill mountain bike trail?

Reviewed on GoogleJust got home after spending 3 fabulous days/2 nights @ Woolshed Cabins; Beechworth. What a hidden gem. We certainly struck gold with this dog friendly accomodation . Cabin 2 was just the perfect spot to relax and take in the tranquillity and the local birds singing their early morning chorus. Our Jack Russell pup, Pasko, along with his owners were made so welcome by Chris who also went out of his way to source some local knowledge for us. The cabin was clean, and beautifully styled and proved everything we needed, and we are certainly planning to come back again very soon for some R & R..
