Does not have the facilities to groom a large dog. Tried to book my smaller dog (toy size) in instead, the owner turned her back walked off and shut the door behind her. The lab is particularly large, and energetic so I completely understood not being able to take care of him particularly but was told she has no way to contain a large dog while grooming anyway.

The lovely owner/manager was patient, gentle and receptive to our anxious rescue ageing gentleman dog, who needed a check and cut of nails, that we had put off because we weren’t sure how he would cope.. Beautiful to watch a genuine fellow dog lover demonstrate such professionalism and compassion (also clearly demonstrated at the acceptance and rapport with her next regularly timid but comfortable pooch for pampering)!! Highly recommended 👍🤗

As the Owner of an older Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who can be difficult to groom, Janine did a great job, but most important was Oscar was calm when I collected him and his cut was very very good and just as I had asked. We will be back, I would have given 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend Dogz grooming especially if you have a difficult fur baby.
Helpful ReviewI might add that CKCS rarely have problems regulating their body temp because of a short haircut as one review implied, these dogs are brachycephalic so do struggle more so with heat.

I highly recommend Janine at Dogz, my 8 year old long hair Chihuahua has been twice and both times he was happy when I picked him up, Janine has a calming way with the dogs and his hair cut was faultless
