Had made an appointment over the phone quoted $252 for the services. Went in for my appointment at the northern beaches clinic, I was charged $350. That seemed like ALOT, so I drove home checked my quote & called up just to ask where the extra $100 went. Was told I was charged the wrong fee & to come in to collect a refund. Drove 20mins back into the clinic to be given $90. I asked about the other $8 ($350 – 252 = $98) The lady told me that she’s already changed it in the system & that I was only missing out on $3. Clearly I missed out on $8. I understand mistakes happen but to not refund me the full amount when I returned felt was really rude. Especially because I was understating & kind about it. I won’t be coming back.

Always been kind and compassionate, great patient handling when the cats are trying to hide, explains multiple options available in the steps of the ‘plan of action’ for the pets care. Bed side manner is fantastic, even at the worst times when putting a loved pet to sleep.

Used to only speak highly of this clinic but definitely have changed my mind after today. Too long of a story to put it all here, but in a nutshell, I felt as if I was spoken to in a very demeaning way by one of the female vets about my dog (who is an abused rescue who I’ve practically rehabilitated mind you.) She was insinuating she was going to be aggressive and kept saying to me “she’s extremely nervous” which fair enough, but I KNOW my dog, and I know 110% that if she was that “nervous” she wouldn’t have been pulling on the lead to get into the consult room, and would have been hiding under tables or behind me.. Regardless, I agreed for them to take her out the back without me (as they requested) where they gave her a needle I never asked for and was never asked about, which ended up costing me almost $150 extra.
Helpful ReviewNever once informed me of any other/extra cost or even asked about these things. I was also quoted wrong, VERY WRONG, when I called and and booked the appointment (that’s okay, always cater for more just incase) but surely it’s not seen as okay to do all these extra things and not inform or ASK the owner if they can afford it, and more importantly if this is okay. It’s wrong. Felt as if nothing was really explained to me properly either (if it was we wouldn’t be in this situation at ALL)
I just felt like I was treated as if I were stupid… not very nice vibes at all, and left feeling very anxious and wanting to cry. Overall really unhappy and will be going to a different vet from now on unfortunately.

I walked in today and was greeted by a lovely girl and then my cat Nessie was treated with absolute love and care by the two female vets.
I would just like to say keep up the great work ladies and I will 100% be back!
Such a welcoming, loving and honest environment!

I feel like i have been to a hair dressers where they keep tacking on little extras and you arnt aware of added costs till you get to till. I asked pre appointment what needs were going to cost and got a fair price , but while there they kept asking question and adding to the appointment. Sure staff were lovely and my fur baby was treated well. But when you get to the counter and an extra $150 is added to your quoted price it is a bit of a shock. Maybe as your adding items explain to clients added costs so not such a harsh shock when they get to register 😕🤔.
