    I left my dog in the doggie hotel for a week while my family traveled out of town. We I returned on Saturday to pick him up. I noticed he had yellow stains on his neck and the people told me he had been peeing outside of the cage and rolling in it. Now I know dogs and one thing that I do know is that no dog is going to roll in their own urine. On top of his testicals having a scare on them and he had lumps on his back.

    The associates at the Petsmart in Smyrna provide quality services at reasonable prices. When I mention Petsmart my Dogs get sooooo excited. They love coming there and being spoiled by the associates, as well as seeing their furry friends.

    Being this was my first time, my experience was a bit foggy and confusing. I believe they gave good service to my pet. It was lack of communication that made things confusing. After speaking with a manager, Jessica, she explained everything which made things a lot clearer and offered her assistance if needed. I was relieved and pleased after our conversation.

    Petsmart Hotel was absolutely a fantastic experience! I was able to call and check his status after 1 night. A nice young man gave me a great report that my boy was doing just fine!
    At pickup, it was obvious my boy was ready to go but he wasn’t filthy or whining. He was his normal happy self!

    I will not shop with Petsmart ever again. I’ve been a customer with them for awhile now and after today’s experience it really confirms they’re just a big corporation who doesn’t care for their customers.
    On 7/8 I booked a grooming appointment for my dog. 30 mins prior to her appointment I was called and told there was an “emergency” and the appointment was canceled and to call back to reschedule. When I called back I was offered a rescheduled appointment for 8/22. I asked if I could speak with a manager because this didn’t make any sense, I was then told I was speaking with the salon manager, who could check another location for an appointment. If you’re looking for customer service in a salon, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

    Our local PetSmart just got a little bit cooler and little more country. Please welcome Dr. Hodges and Dr. Ferguson as a newly established veterinary practice in the Cumberland/Smyrna area. This PetSmart is a great location and the staff here are friendly and professional. Bring your critters here for all their health, play, and grooming needs. We have been taking our little Bambina here for many years and would recommend the grooming salon for small dog owners.

    I had the worse experience at Petsmart. I came in to return some items I had purchased at the Austell store. I was assisted by Bre. She had an attitude right away. I have been coming to this Petsmart since 2015. While she was doing the transaction, she said, “You can’t return live plants.” I said, “Oh, I wasn’t aware, OK!” and placed the items in my purse. She then told me that an item (I had bought the same two items) wasn’t on the receipt. I told her that I bought them at the exact same time. It is the same item. Mind you, I had just purchased it the day before, still had the tags on, and all other items were in the original undamaged packages. I also came with the receipt. She said, “I’m not going to take it because it isn’t on the receipt.” She didn’t even offer me a store credit – which I would have taken. I’m looking at the receipt and she was wrong. I bought 2 of the same item and 2 other different items. I’m looking at the receipt and all 4 items are on there. I said you really aren’t going to give me $4.23. I can’t help if the associate rang it up wrong. She then said again, ” I dont’ know what to tell you.” I asked to speak to the manager, she said she was the manager – again her name was listed as Bre on her name tag. She then told me that she wasn’t going to accept any of my returns because I was supposed to take it to Austell. I said are you serious? She then proceeded to push my stuff back and I got upset. I apologized and asked her to finish my return. She then stated another item wasn’t on the receipt. I said, “Do you think I stole it?” I had to show her the receipt to show her that the item was listed.

    She said it was store policy not to accept a large amount of returns. It was 8 items. The fact that the items were large in size and dollar amount shouldn’t matter. I am following the return policy that is listed on the back of the receipt. She repeated that next time, I would need to return to the original store where I purchased it if I wanted to return something.

    She was the most rude, nasty employee I have ran into at Petsmart. If fact, she is the most rude, nasty, disrespectful employee I have ran into in years. I have no control over anyone’s employment, nor do I think one transaction should dictate whether or not someone keeps her job. But, I am 100% confident that she should be fired.
