Travelling full time with a senior Staffy, we have passed through and used their services on 3 occasions . First time, we called ahead but had no appointments available. Given the the doggo was experiencing mild case of the runs over several days.. they understood the anxieties and could potentially worsen. They had us on standby and squeezed us in on a fully booked Saturday nonetheless!!
On the second encounter (scratched cornea) which was only about 10 days later and were 400km south we decided to travel north back for the comfort of knowing he would be treated with care.
The third (eye follow up), we was given extra care. Of course all visits were IMO thorough, and both doggo and humans were treated with kindness and professionalism.
In todays world, this is something worth celebrating.

Only vets in town, sadly. Called up multiple times to book and was hung up on. They did not call back, very frustrating as they are the only vets in town.

Staff were extremely rude, not willing to help or assist when browsing for a particular product, proceeded to talk and gossip as if I wasn’t in the store at all!! If I knew this disappointing experience was going to happen would not have gone in at all.

The girls at South Hedland Vets are awesome. My dog is very temperamental but they are so patient with him, they even attend to him in the waiting room because he starts to freak in the smaller rooms. Highly recommend
