I’ve been going there for the last 7 years, to have my Kaizer have his yearly vaccinations. I rung and made an appointment. I turned up for my appointment.
Helpful Reviewi was asked by the vet if i was vaccinated, I replied no i’m not, and the vet said that she would take kaizer and I would have to remain outside, because I wasn’t vaccinated, yet I was wearing a mask. I am immune suppressed due to a transplant. I’m sick of this discrimination against the vaccinated and unvaccinated, as I find this is discrimination. The Government mandates expired on the 15th Dec, 2021. Yet this vet still mandating the double vaccination. WELL YOUR BUSINESS HAS LOSS MY BUSINESS, DUE TO YOUR DISCRIMINATION. Yet I rung Terry Hills Animal Hospital, and they were open to all people, vacinnated or not. Not only did they get me an appointment on the same day, they were also cheaper than what you charged me last year!

Michael is the most caring and professional vet out there. He looked after our Lab Rocky for years and when the difficult time came he made sure Rocky received the kindest, most comfortable send off possible. We received a beautiful sympathy note from him, sharing his thoughts and experiences about our beautiful dog, to which we were so appreciative. Just an amazing man with a heart of gold.

Our new puppy needs the second vaccine (the first one was done by the pet shop). So I was looking for a local vet.
I phoned this morning around 10:25am and told them specifically our new puppy needs the vaccine, they provided very limited consultation windows. While I was deciding which sessions to attend, the lady on the phone suddenly said she cannot serve us anymore because we are new customers and new customers are not welcomed when they are busy.
I was very surprised to hear that and found this was rude and utterly unprofessional since they could have informed me at the beginning of the call. I then asked her why didn’t she tell me at the start of the call, she said she forgot about it.
This has been disappointing since my neighbor said they are good. And the rating here seems to good, but how so ???
I had to phone another vets from nearby suburbs instead.

St Ives vet has looked after Rubi fur the past 4 to 5 years. They are always attentive, and are reasonably priced. She went through a bad patch and they were very concerned and cared for her really well. All staff and vets are great. Thank you.

Michael and Zane, who I have had the most experience with, are amazing vets.
Michael has been our vet for over 20 years. He has operated on our dogs, he has arranged a specialist surgeon – who was also available to speak to us – he has always provided the best possible care for all our dogs.
His knowledge and skill is exceptional.
He keeps me informed, is available to me for my inquiries and explains things to me when I ask.
Zane too keeps me informed and explains everything – the options available in terms of treatment, pros and cons etc. – and I am yet to see Zane, or Michael, make an error.
He and Michael just know what they are doing and are excellent at what they do.
The staff are caring and understand how much our dogs mean to us.
I cannot recommend Michael, Zane and the team highly enough.
Thank you for all that you’ve done and continue to do.

Great service. They really try to help you out. I called 5 vets to see my little one with an infected skin allergies only st ives was able to accommodate me after much begging. Highly recommend. The Pup got some antibiotics and allergy tablet. Cleared up after 4 days and fully gone by 7 days.

We had a bad experience before and don’t want to go back there. My pet died after an operation. What made us really upset is not just the death of our pet. I am giving 2 stars because the whole process of operation was not transparent at all. We were told a specialist will come to do the operation for my pet. But I was not allowed to talk to the specialist to ask questions and I did not know who did the operation and what is this specialist’s professional background. It was my first pet and I trusted the staff. However when I was waiting to pick up my pet on the next day, got a phone call and was told she passed away after the operation.

The best vet! Have been coming for years and they have always looked after my 11 year old moodle Monty perfectly. I wouldn’t trust him anywhere else. Shout out to Sally and Laura who are so lovely and it is obvious they genuinely care for their clients.

I AM MOST IMPRESSED WITH THIS SURGERY. THEY ARE SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AND TREAT OUR DOG SO WELL. THE CARING SHOWS BEGINNING WITH MICHAEL AND GOES ALL THE WAY. THEY ARE ALSO NOT GREEDY IN THEIR CHARGES. i WOULD RECOMMEND THEM OVER ALL THE OTHER VET PRACTICES THAT WE HAVE TRIED OVER 45 YEARS IN THE AREA. WE HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH MICHAEL NOW FOR 10 YEARS..
