Best place to bring my precious Yorkie, Vida. We have been coming for years. They always take the best care of her (shes quite geriatric so she needs a bit of special care ) 😍 Love the festive bandanas, etc that she comes

Ive tried a couple of places for toy poodle grooming but I?ve always come back to Maru Maru. They always do such a thorough job and do the teddy bear style the best in my eyes! The service is always friendly and welcoming and I always get compliments on Benji?s/Panko?s harnesses that I bought from them which is a handmade Japanese style.
Panko, is naughty unlike Benji who loves being groomed. It isn?t easy to have Panko sit still to groomed esp around his butt and face and let alone his nails! However after coming to Maru Maru for 2 years now, Panko is letting me trim a little from his face, so I feel like Maru Maru does a good job when he?s there ? so much to the point he is allowing me to do minor trims at home which was impossible before!

My dog has been to many groomers that unable to trim her long nails or groom her without hurting her. She had her ear accidentally cut and her nail bleeding from other groomers before. Since to Maru Maru, the whole experience is pleasant for her. She looks calmer in a groomer place, which is a surprise. Also, she always comes back with beautiful smell that last for weeks! I’m so unhappy with my puppy’s haircut! I probably will never go back to this place, maybe just because I don’t agree with their style. I think my dog’s new hair cut is really ugly. My partner went to pick him up, if it’s me I would ask for a fix on the spot!

Been coming here for 2 years with our Moodle Mash and i must say they are the absolute best around. The quality of the cut is amazing and they are flexible with drop off and pick up times which helps massively with our busy work schedule. Mash suffers from severe separation anxiety so is always barking when i leave but has the biggest smile and the waggiest of tales and they never complain about his barking 😉 Highly recommend these guys is you are in the inner west!!

Was referred by two people and am glad I went, my dog Rocco (a lagotto) had an excellent groom and came back looking amazing as well as being very calm and relaxed, I will definitely be coming back in the future, only downside is parking but hey its the inner west 😉

I would NEVER go to this groomer again. I walked out with my two dogs after witnessing a groomer forcing and man handling a petrified dog to sit still. My dogs were shaking walking in so I refused to leave them.

Today i took my cavoodle to maru maru for the 6th time in the past 1.5 year! I have already booked the appointment and confirmed that it will take 3 hours to do the grooming. I took a day off work and took my dog there. The lady told me that it would take 4.5 hours. I told her that I cannot come back later than 3 hours after because i need to be somewhere in the evening and she told me to go and come back another day which I clearly couldnt do. Once I was there i noticed dogs humping eachother and no one tries to separate them. And i found out that, that is one of the reasons why my dog hates the place. He is submissive and he wont defend himself same as the dog that i was witnessing being humped! Also Last time when I took my dog back home I noticed his paws are all red and there was a cut on one of them so i had to try to hard to stop him from licking his paws for a week! I think the fact that Maru Maru is a grooming place and at the same time is a doggy day care does not allow them to provide a good setvice in either of them! All of the dogs are there in a very small space humping and running on top of each other and non of the seems happy. I was quite sad and stressed today because I had to take my dog home and it was such a waste of time and energy and money and I wont be returning back to Maru maru and dont recommend it to owners who care about their dogs and specially to the one with more submissive cavoodles.
