Sadly a horrible experience made worse. When we finally gave in to the fact that being put to sleep was the kindest thing to do we booked our dog in. Although mask mandates had been lifted it was still insisted we wear one in the vet reception. The veterinarian never came to the front desk to discuss what would happen and we were told we could not be with our boy until the end. He was taken to a back room and from that point we were ignored. When I asked “What happens now, does the Vet come and tell us when it’s over?” The response I received was extremely lacking in compassion “You’ve paid, so you can leave”. It’s a hard enough decision to make and I’m devastated we couldn’t be with him and let him know he is loved. I’m left filled with grief, guilt anger and regret.
The fact that 9 months later the response is justification and allocation of blame, says it all. The review remains 1 star (at best)

Have bought many of my ‘exotic’ pets here over the years, and the vets have been marvellous with their care and knowledge. Highly suggest CCVC for Rabbits, Rats and Guinea Pigs, I refuse to take mine anywhere else.

I asked them if they could scan a deceased cat on the road outside their clinic, was told no because they’re in surgery. I said cool that’s fine, I understand, but maybe someone could come scan it after surgery? She said it’s best I just take it to the pound myself to have it scanned. The cat was literally out the front of your vet clinic. You could have VERY easily scanned it. Oh and you also told me you would not be able to keep it in your freezer. Very disappointing.

Absolutely disrespectful service told to get out of the Surgery by the vet, when I was only trying to book an appointment for my animals. Definitely would not recommend find somewhere proper to take your animals

It had been quite a while since my gorgeous boy had been to a vet so I was a little apprehensive at first as to how he would go. These amazing girls did such a fantastic job! My boy was calm when he left me and they took such great care of him. Is now definitely the place I will always take him. Thankyou so much you are greatly appreciated 💕

I love all the vets that work between the two clinics. They are so understanding of rabbits and their need for emergency appointments. They’ve helped me out on so many occasions, they’re very reasonably priced and have fountains of knowledge and expertise.
