I cannot speak highly enough of the excellent service and support we have received from Timbertown – and most especially Jess. She saw our very sick older dog after hours, took bloods – then sent me the results later that night. She then sent all details to our usual vet, who was able to act quickly the next day based on the information from Jess.

Took my puppy to get vaccinated. Came away with no vaccination but a bill of around $450? Said she had an infection which I was more than happy to get treated with antibiotics – guessing that should have been less than $100? However I was then told she needed a further test which cost over $200 to check they were the correct antibiotics (which to this day I have never received the results of so have to wonder if it was ever done??) Was also told she needed other tablets so the antibiotics didnt upset her and had to buy a box of 50 when she only needed 7. Also told she had to have worm and tick treatment despite me telling them I had already done it. Came away wondering what on earth just happened?? Have gone back to a vet I trust!

Extremely thorough, kind, and compassionate. I am very grateful to Dr Jessica Beattie for her patience and advice. Timbertown Vet Hospital pricing is also quite reasonable, especially considering the quality of care they provide.

Long story short.
Helpful Review 5My dog was in pain with trauma to the leg.
I had to wait 6 days for an appointment and then at the appointment told I had to have vaccinations and worm tablets. The vet then looked at the leg and said the dog needed xrays and blood tests because he could have bone cancer. I agreed that yes he needed more tests but could I just have something to cover his pain. She told me that I could have some medication but it may not work as he may not metabolise it??? I had to ask for some anti inflammatories and was informed this could lead to kidney failure..
They seem to lose sight of the initial reason for a visit to the vet with a loved pet and it all becomes a money making venture

We have been taking our dogs to Timbertwon Vets for three years. Alison, Josh, Laura and all the staff are always very caring, compassionate and supportive. We go on a regular basis as our dogs have several health issues.

I have an experience to visit the hospital with my 2 dogs. I can say the people there working with animals not only under professional skills but by their hearts. Doctor Josh is a great doctor and beautiful person.

Our beloved 12yr old Staffie had very agressive and advanced lymphoma and we had to make the painful decision of putting her down. The staff were very professional and sensitive and even sent us a sympathy card showing a understanding of the family’s grief.
