The workers here are EXTREMELY unknowledgeable. They huff and puff when you ask for assistance, and act like theyre doing you a favor to check you out. It’s not our fault that you work at pet smart . Make better life choices .
I was told (by a girl not even in uniform)that I couldn’t purchase 5 platy fish to feed to my reptile because they were “pets”
I was then told I could buy a “feeder fish”
A 25 gallon tank full of 150+ minnows that are either dead or eating each other…
The “manager” never even heard of the type of reptile I own even tho they’re sold in pet shops.
Once I asked a worker if they sold an automatic water pump and he replied no. It took me 5 minutes to search the 3 aisles they have in the store to find it…
CORPORATE! Where you at corporate??

Was discriminated against at this location because I am black, went in to buy water conditioner for my fish tank. I went to the cashier put the bottle I was buying on the counter and paid for it while the empty bottle was in my hand. The cashier waited until I left counter and get to walk out to say “hey do you need to pay for that?” I said “the empty bottle that you don’t sell in this size no.” There was many ways that the cashier could have asked and not waited for me to be half way out the door and not to apologize. Don’t go here

Just had a very strange encounter with one of the employees.She refused to sell me a fish unless i had a filtration system. She told me it was unethical to buy the fish, a beta, without a filtration system. Beta fish are sold in plastic cups inside petsmart.They’re not even sold kept in filtration systems in the store. They are in little cups. She apparently needs power and control, ok. I will go to another store.
