Reducing my rating. I’ve been taking my Shih Tzu here since she was 1, making it 11 years now. The last 4 grooming services I’ve had have been well below expectations. This last visit was the last straw. I guess the groomer was new but my girl came home with crooked fur, places that were cut much too short and some not at all, her paws weren’t shaped, and just overall not what I wanted for spending $100. I called the store and the grooming manager cleaned her up that week. If this had been the only problem I’d still go. Before this most recent experience she has repeatedly not gotten the extras I paid for like spritz, scented shampoo, bandanna, and the 2 previous times she was still wet, hadn’t even been brushed and smelled dirty still. Dog grooming is big business right now and thankfully there are more options. I just hate we had such a long run here and it ended poorly.
I only visit here to for dog grooming services. Most visits are consistent and the staff is friendly. I trust them more than our local place.

I took my dachshund mix, Gatsby, to be groomed on October 10th of this year. Let me tell you our experience. Ashley D. is an amazing groomer. Gatsby looked and still looks amazing. He’s never been taken care of or groomed better. Thanks so much. We’ve been going here for a lot of years. Ashley is the best! Thanks!

My nephew (puppy english bull dog) went in for a groom and shower and didn’t even last 30 minutes when they said it was gonna take 1 hour he went in smelling like fritos and came out smelling like watery fritos!!! Worst service they don’t take their time at all!

Was at PS in Waxahachie May 12, Friday. In the parking lot I heard a dog screaming. Upon entering the store, I saw a female groomer holding a small Gray dog on the grooming table by its left ear while she was attempting to groom. The dog was wiggling and trying to get away from her all while the rope or chain around its neck was tight and she held its poor lil ear up in the air, it’s front feet was at times off the table. A man and woman groomer stood right by her watching. I’m begging you to never ever take your dog there for grooming unless, you stay while they are groomed. I have reported this incident every where I can! I demand she be fired before I ever enter that store again. I just wish I would have gotten video. A groomer should know a dogs ears are extremely sensitive. Apparently they are not trained properly.
