To the Asian Male Vet with a random sounding American accent,
Helpful Review 2You are an impersonal, money hungry, scalpel obsessed vet who does not practice with the best interests of the pet in mind. You speak condescendingly and vaguely by using phrases like “highly suspicious.” You are someone who would rather cut open a 4 month old puppy than bother with further diagnostic testing.
Thankfully we chose to visit Bundoora for a second opinion, the vet surgeon decided you were wrong!
Whittlesea Vet Practice you have lost the business of our x4 pet family, anyone we tell personally and hopefully everyone who reads this review!

The vet was great. However, the reception service lacked thoughtfulness. My cat was audibly destressed, but i was kept waiting after the vet consult to pay for quite a few minutes until ‘urgent’ phone calls we made by admin staff. All of the other pet owners waiting felt compassion for me & my anxious cat, but not the admin staff. Another pet owner after me came straight out of her consult & was attended to at the front counter immediately. This was my first visit, being new to the area.

I want to say they are terrible and everyone should stay away but that’s because I want to be selfish and try to keep them for myself.
Never a long wait to be seen or a long wait for procedures. They truly seem to love the animals they see and offer the best advice. I drive nearly half an hour for their service, expertise and attention to detail.
If you truly love your pets, there is nowhere else that will look after them as well.

I just want to thank Dr. Raj for being the most patient, empathetic and calming vet when it came to the most horrible thing we’ve ever been through, putting our beautiful baby to sleep. After initial tests he advised that getting further scans and a second specialist opinion/investigation is within our rights and worth thought. After taking that advice it was confirmed our boys only option was to go to sleep to relieve his pain. We chose to come back to the Whittlesea vet practice as their compassion, understanding and comfort was second to none and what we needed for our boy. They didn’t rush anything, they gave us time and even stayed overtime to accomodate this. Thank you to the whole team for making this horrible time feel as comfortable as it could be.

We first came to this vet because of its emergency hours, unfortunately our beautiful Husky Shepherd had to be put to sleep. It was heartbreaking and in the middle of hard COVID lockdowns. But they were so kind and gentle with us. Even though we weren’t regulars. When we got another dog we knew that we wanted her to come to this clinic from the start. And they’ve been great with Belle.

Got recommended the vet from a friend to get my girl speyed via the laproscopic procedure. All the staff were very helpful and happy to answer all the questions we had. The day went smoothly, lots of communication as to how everything was going and a good amount of follow up after the surgery.

The vet and nurses were so kind and compassionate and helped us in a very difficult time.
