Review Summary
Here's a summary of the most recent reviews on The Pet Community
PAWS Darwin has received a mixed bag of feedback, with one comment sharply criticising the organisation for neglect and mismanagement, accusing them of not caring for animals and misusing funds. However, this view appears to be in the minority, as numerous other responses overflow with positivity, highlighting the friendly, caring, and professional nature of the staff. Many commend PAWS Darwin for their outstanding community service, the care and understanding they provide to both animals and pet owners, and their overall efficiency in services. First-time visitors and longtime supporters alike praise the warmth and knowledge of the staff and the evident care they extend towards animals. The organisation has been described as wonderful, with heartwarming stories of adoption and volunteer experiences that underline the positive impact PAWS Darwin has on the community and the lives of animals.

This organisation is disgusting. They don’t care about the animals and have had a couple of dogs die due to neglect. A senate in parliament bought up how another one was so badly affected by the heat that she nearly collapsed. What is happening to the $3000 you get for each greyhound, or the $40000 you get for the fake therapy dogs, or the $2000 you charge for the naughty poodles and cocker spaniels you breed that bite people and then they sell them through the shelter as ‘therapy dogs in training’
The money is certainly not going to the shelter and the animals. Do not get a dog or cat from this organisation, they mistreat them and censor anyone who questions their actions online. They have a cult following of delusional people in the community who actively deny the animal abuse pretending it doesn’t happen. This is an evil organisation.

Highly recommend this place if you truly care about your pets. They take time to help your animals instead of seeing them as a pay check. Affordable prices for families with Animals big and small.

Just took my dog into the Paws Darwin on-site vet clinic for her annual vaccination – my dog isn?t a Paws rescue dog but the vet clinic take appointments for the general public too!
Helpful ReviewBec and Paula were absolutely amazing with my girl, treated her with such love and were more then happy to look at a couple of other concerns I had.
It was a great experience for both myself and my dog and I feel good knowing that the fees, which were cheaper then my local vet, will help go towards the shelter to keep saving other animals.
