My dogs groom was shockingly poor. I had to fix it myself. I paid for a full groom and they didn’t do his private areas clean his ears and his tail had a large matt and was not even trimmed. If you love your pet go somewhere else.

Do not take your dog here. Picked up my dog who looked so distressed and sad. He kept one eye shut for the rest of the day – I have no idea what they did to his eye. The next day, his eye is still red and not completely open. He also had patches of blood on his fur from where he was cut when they cut his hair. Horrible. I can’t begin to imagine how much he would have suffered. I deeply regret taking him here. These people do not care about the wellbeing of your dog.

I left my 9 months old toy poodle for grooming and asked them to do a teddy bear cut for face . When I picked him up I couldn’t even recognize him. One ear was different with the other and the face was all shaved off. I am so unhappy and never go back there. It was a terrible experience

Hi Sara, thank you for your review.
With regards to shaving the face, we would’ve had to shave its face if it’s matted. We cannot do a teddy face on any dog if the muzzle/face is matted. The same applies to the ears. Matting on any part of the dog is unhealthy. We would’ve informed you of this prior to shaving it.
On a toy poodle, regular combing/brushing is needed to ensure their coats do not get knots which eventually turns into matting. As groomers, we can only do the best that we can with how the dog’s coat is presented to us.
If the ears are uneven, happy to rectify. Please give us a call to arrange a time and we will do it on the spot.

They do the best dog grooming in Wollongong. Know pooches well, & take care. Repeat customer, Dog Grooming is not an easy task. People comment on how soft & well maintained the dog’ coat is, so I always ‘give credit where credit’s due’ & tell them I take it to ‘Dapper Dogs’.
