    Acacia Veterinary provided the most compassionate and professional care during two incredibly difficult times for our family. The sudden loss of our dog Neo broke my heart, and six months later we returned with our almost 20-year-old cat Lilly, who was ready to go after a long life with dementia.
    Different vets and nurses cared for us each time, yet the same kindness, patience, and professionalism was shown throughout — never rushed, always respectful, and deeply caring. The thoughtful follow-up with a beautiful card and our pets’ nose and paw prints meant more than words can say.
    Forever grateful to every staff member involved. 🐾💔

    Thank you to the team at Acacia Vets. We are new to the area and our puppy Miso had an awful allergic reaction. The receptionist team was caring and understanding, and made time to see our girl the same day, even though they were fully booked. After a second flare up, I caught Dr Derek as he was closing the clinic and he gave me some medical advice and peace of mind for our girl for tonight. We will definitely be staying with Acacia Vets and recommending them to everyone.

    Yes we are unfortunately taking our beloved ❤ Milo back 😢 for more surgery on 28/02/24 he has twisted his leg and damaged the recent surgery .
    We will have to wrap him up in cotton wool.

    Our beloved MILO did his crutiate ligament on his left hind leg 2 years to the month of his right one. All the staff are to be put up on the highest plinth possible for all the dedicated surgery and Love ❤ given to him, and of course his owners 😉 😄.

    A big thank you to the lovely staff at Acacia Vets. We had to put our 16 year old fur baby to sleep last week, which was tough. The staff here were supportive, caring and treated our little Man with dignity, thank you so so much, and for the lovely card, paw print and a little bow of his hair.

    Acacia Veterinary Surgery is very caring to both the animals and their owners. We’ve tried 2 vets, the other “QVCC” was more expensive and just not as caring. Our dog has Cushings disease, so needs ongoing care. We will not go back to QVCC, very condescending.

    Acacia Veterinary was a pleasant enough place and the staff were very nice BUT the Vet in charge of that place needs to go and do a refresher’s course on Veterinary. The person I saw with my 6 year old Dachshund which was having problems walking and in considerable pain and examined for us to be told he must have strained himself and was given Anti Inflammatory Medication.
    This did not work very well so off I went back to Acacia with same vet and this time was told he has Arthritis in back and needed to go onto pain killers well as you guessed it that wasn’t right either, what annoys not once were we asked if we would like an X-Ray done on my dog.
    We decided to go to another Vet (thank god) and as soon as I showed her how my dog was walking straight away was booked in for an X-Ray to cut along story short my poor little boy is now suffering from a Bulging Disc and is now having the right treatment for his back.
    Those two weeks wasting my time and money on the WRONG treatments could have saved my little boy lots of pain.
    Morel of my story if your not convinced your animal is not getting the right treatment please please go and get a second opinion.
    I won’t ever ever take any of my dogs to Acacia Veterinary again
    very disappointed of how my dog was treated and I am just thankful I went with my gut and got that second opinion because I honestly think if left to him I would have buried my dog by now.

    My little dog had extremely bad breath and hadn’t eaten much in 3 weeks, so brought her to the Acacia Vet. The vet assessed her and she needed a couple of teeth removed and teeth cleaned. The vet here was absolutely awesome. She explained everything to us with the procedure my little dog would have and was most informative. The care that everyone has at this surgery is really heartfelt. Most surgeries are only in it for the money.. where this surgery is quite good with their prices. Would highly recommend Acacia Veterinary Surgery.

They were VERY sympathetic about my poor sweet baby girl who had to be put to sleep, they went above and beyond, including helping me carry her from the car in an awful state and Let me sit with her and howl over her body for as long as I needed and didn?t make me feel judged, only offered tissues and the friendliest smile they could, they then performed surgery on my other sweet baby, after trying to do everything without the cost and risk of sedation (which wasn?t possible), but they have done the best job and were VERY accomodating, I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and they are the ONLY place I will take my sweet girl from here on after having an awful encounter with another vet in Yeppoon who was frustrated at me for crying on the phone when my baby girl was passing away infront of me.. If I could give these hero?s 10/5 I would.

    I have used Acacia Vet a number of times for treatment and even just advice and have found Carmen to be such a great help!! She is knowledgeable and encouraging and always patient and friendly. She conducts thorough assessments and never makes me feel like I am being dismissed. Absolute praise is all I have for her! Gold star 🌟😄👍
