A few friends warned me about PetHQ in regards to their fish stock and when I arrived to form my own opinion on their product I couldn’t say I was surprised.
Fish and corals are in terrible condition. I’ve seen several axolotls who were on the brink of death. Fish and corals in general are just sad looking.
Definitely wouldn’t recommend buying from this shop. Staff aren’t motivated either with the exception of one or two.
And if you buy a fish from their store and there’s a problem with the fish it’s like trying to get blood from a rock to get a refund (that’s if they don’t just blame you for the fish being in that condition anyway)
I’d recommend A1 as an alternative.

I recomend NOT buying reptiles from this place, They Sell you wrong coloured reptiles from what they told you,you were going to get.I asked the lady second in charge,OVER and OVER agiain,Is the dragon going to be all over yellow
“I DIDNT WANT ANY GRAY”,and she said Yes ITS GOING TO BE ALL YELLOW”,when I went and picked it up, I said it was gray,and she said they change their colour in 12 months,WRONG!.If you dont know what your buying,DONT GO TO PET HQ,because they will sell anything,and tell you anything you want to hear, just to get money.My little 9 yr old son saved up his pocket money to buy a yellow dragon,and they sold him a gray,and wont give him a discount or credit in shop and the lady second in charge is very rude.DONT BUY FROM THIS SHOP.

Wow reading other reviews I must of walked into the wrong place….staff are rude. Item I wanted, they only had a dusty scratched up floor stock one…but still wanted full price…all to hard to order new one….lesson learnt…congratulations you have made it to the do not re-enter list
