Went for my puppy’s second vax with Dr Michelle a couple days ago, and she was amazing! Asked about my plan for his training and socialisation, and just asked me heaps of questions in general which shows how much she cares, and gave amazing information and tips. Seems like this will be my dogs permanent vet. All the vet nurses and reception staff were also very welcoming and sweet! Very happy!

I took my new puppy for an emergency then ongoing treatment. Michelle and Sarah were the Vets that helped us. So much care and understanding not only from the Vets but from all staff. They went above and beyond to explain everything to me and also to follow up to see how my puppy was doing.

We had a dog that was having a tough experience, and not only did we get great support from Dr Michelle, who helped us better understand our dog, but also send a handwritten note after our dog unfortunately had to be put down.
I’ve never had such good service in what has been a really tough time for us, and Dr Michelle was professional, polite and knowledgeable.

Dr Michelle and the whole team at Vets on Balwyn are such a kind and compassionate team that is full of knowledge! We are forever grateful for all the support we have received whilst trying to make our Frankie his happiest self. Dr Michelle includes us in all decisions and always ensures we are well informed about a variety of options available. Dr Michelle and the vet nurses have always been very prompt to reply to emails and nothing has ever been too much of an ask. Dr Michelle communicates with trainers which makes the combination of veterinary and medical support with behavioural management and modification much easier for any novice dog owner. Dr Michelle was absolutely amazing at helping us deal with our dog who had big behaviour issues. We loved that she worked with our family and our dog trainer to give our dog the best care he needs. We had an hours drive to get to the practice from our house and was well worth the drive. The care, support and knowledge is worth every cent. Thank you for your services.

An edit: one year later, still really happy with their service. Both dogs have been well cared for with vaccinations, spider bites and urinaty infections. Communication with tests have been fast and well planned. Thanks so much.

I am the owner of a boisterous 3 year old border collie. I don’t think I could have found a better vet clinic. Both doctors and nurses are incredibly professional, responsive and knowledgeable. They go the extra mile to help you by sending texts to your phone when vaccinations and parasite medications are due. I feel confident that my dog is in the best hands possible. Their website makes it easy for me to make bookings, and there is plenty of parking outside the clinic.

Vets on Bawlyn are amazing. My reactive, rescue dog has been seeing Dr. Michelle and the care has been caring, thorough and professional. Dr. Michelle has provided ongoing support through phone calls and email and works to support myself and my dog in all ways possible, including sourcing updates from his trainer. The rest of the team are also great and always happy to provide me with support and advice over the phone. Highly recommend, especially if you have a dog with behavioural issues or a dog who needs extra planning to attend an appointment.

We would like to thank the team at Vets on Balwyn for providing great quality of care for our Greyhound Chewie! Chewie had a swollen leg, and every part of the process was explained in detail, very carefully with my husband and I. They were upfront with the price and was very clear about what the entire process would include. During the day of the surgeries, we received phone calls from the team explaining what they had done, what they had found and how they were going to proceed. This made us feel very reassured that Chewie was in the best hands! The post-surgery care was amazing- we were asked to come in multiple times so that they could check in on Chewie’s condition (all part of the fees from the surgery). The team was also very professional and caring, always giving us the biggest smile and the warmest welcome whenever we stepped into the clinic. Chewie LOVES it there!
Thank you Dr Vicky, Dr Viv, Dr Kate and Dr Michelle, and the nurses there for making us feel very safe in your hands! ❤️

We have taken our cats there for the past year or so since moving to the area. Dr Michelle/Vivian have been absolutely terrific. My cat had a brain tumour and they recommenced an MRI straight away. The diagnosis was was spot on and I will always be grateful as our cat has had brain tumour removed and recovered completely. Everything from diagnosis to giving us options that were tailored to our needs was handled in an extremely empathetic manner. I will definitely recommend them to anyone with a pet.
