Wow, excellent value for money, great trainers, excellent tips. Our now 16 week old pup is very well behaved having been to 3 classes (Thursday mornings or Sunday mornings) and it pays off. He has developed more confidence, takes instructions well and is an all round pleasure to be around. The group has different classes of different levels running at the same time, with plenty of practical exercises for our dog to do and stay engaged. Having close to an estimated (my estimate) 150-200 dogs in the park at the times we went there (Thursday is quieter) whilst providing training helps to increase exposure to other dogs whilst in a training environment so, when on the street our pup is more attentive to me and listens to commands without being completely overwhelmed with excitement

Awesome place to socialise a dog. There are often 50-100+ dogs of all shapes and sizes and while this did seem like a lot initially, sessions break down and run surprisingly smoothly.
The volunteer Trainers rotate between classes, all have their own variations of tips tricks and techniques but are all brilliant and highly experienced.
In just 4 sessions I’ve noticed a world of difference in my puppy and for only $80 a year per family this is probably the best investment I’ve made in my dog and I’s happiness, social life and ability to function comfortably together within society.

Disorganised. Too many dogs per trainer. Trainer tried to cover far too much at the first session and seemed unconcerned about whether the class was following him. I asked for a refund and now go to Moorabbin obedience school. So much better!

(Translated by Google) I grew up with dogs. The first 27 years of my life, a dog has lived in our house with us.
My children were repeatedly attacked by dogs. With my little son (2) I pushed a dog away and on the second try the dog got his hair in the mouth anyway!
My other son was knocked over 2 minutes later by another dog on the playground! He had to fight the animal
defend!
I loudly called for help to get the dogs from my children. The dog owners did not do anything!
The dog owners told us that their dogs are allowed to walk everywhere and freely! Also on the playground and at the picnic area!
Eating in the picnic area is not possible because dogs were always at the table. The several dog owners had no desire, despite the incidents, to remove their dogs from the area. The mother with her 2Kindern (about 6 & 8years) were several times harassed by different dogs massively. Their calls for the dog owners were mostly unsuccessful.
This park should not be entered with children!
The dog owners do not care about their dogs. You are even laughed at by you!

Ich bin mit Hunden aufgewachsen. Die ersten 27Jahre meines Lebens hat ein Hund bei uns im Haus gelebt.
Meine Kinder wurden mehrfach von Hunden angegriffen. Bei meinem kleinen Sohn (2) habe ich einen Hund weggeschubst und beim 2ten Versuch hat der Hund trotzdem seine Haare ins Maul bekommen!
Mein anderer Sohn wurde 2Minuten später von einem anderen Hund umgerissen auf dem Kinderspielplatz! Er musste sich gegen das Tier
verteidigen!
Ich habe laut um Hilfe gerufen um die Hunde von meinen Kindern zu bekommen. Die Hundehalter haben nichts gemacht!
Die Hundehalter sagten uns, dass Ihre Hunde überall und frei laufen dürfen! Auch auf dem Kinderspielplatz und bei der Picknickzone!
Essen in der Picknickzone ist nicht möglich, da ständig Hunde am Tisch waren. Die mehreren Hundehalter hatten keine Lust, trotz der Vorfälle, ihre Hunde aus dem Bereich zu entfernen. Die Mutter mit Ihren 2Kindern (ca. 6&8Jahre) wurden mehrfach durch unterschiedliche Hunde massiv belästigt. Ihre Rufe nach den Hundehaltern waren meistens erfolglos.
Diesen Park sollte man mit Kindern nicht betreten!

Overall this is a great community group that offers very affordable dog training. We found it very stressful attending this puppy school, because: (1) the class is very big, usually 10-20 dogs. It is very difficult to get an energetic puppy to focus, and we spend most of the class time trying to “manage” our puppy and keep her calm. (2) the puppy play time was well intended, but the space was so small (10+ puppies in a very small closed space), that there is barely any room to move for all the puppies and their owners. If you have an adult dog who is usually calm and well behaved in an over-stimulating environment, this may be a nice option; high energy puppies may struggle in these classes.
