I would highly recommend S.E.A for wanting anyone to buy fish. The staff was lovely and gave good advice when choosing types of fish. Even after my fish died (right after I bought it) they have me a new one and tested my water for the ph levels. If there’s one place to buy your fish do at S.E.A

WARNING DO NOT ATTEND THIS BUSINESS. Completely unethical and unprofessional I purchased a few fish by a man in the store he did not give me a receipt it was extremely expensive for a couple of gold fish guppies etc a few days later I attended the store for a water test which is for free and never requested payment I went out the back to check the prices of the fish that I purchased and was completely in SHOCK to see I was charged almost double the price I was extremely uncomfortable and decided not to mention the over the payment in person. ( which I’m relieved I didn’t) I called the store explained to the man exactly what had happened and being over charged and requested my money returned he said that was for the water test!! (Which is for free he has got to joking) I said thats fine If that’s how you would like to treat your customers keep the money as I new it would not be returned and told the man I would be writing a review about my experience in his store and then the man denied the whole transaction occurred and become extremely angry and said he would just have my review removed. Completely unprofessional business. I should have went to pet barn to avoid being taken advantage of and over charged and shocking rude customer service. I will be attending pet barn in the future…. Do not take advantage of you customers extremely SNEAKY and Unprofessional behaviour!

1st of all you rang this morning shouting at my business partner abusing him on prices …
We are responsible in pricing and we always give discounts obviously your making this up because we always give out receipts cash or card transactions
So I’m not which shop you are from
And to answer your question about going to pet barn I recommend you do that we really don’t need people like you tarnishing our family businesses
We have a large customer base and if you were to read other comments it states WE TREAT PEOPLE LIKE FAMILY…

Bad experience! Bad experience! Overpriced and sick fish
Purchased 15 fish 🐠 for $120 and 5 died in the first 2 days! Went back to store brought the fish with me and told them as they were to be a gift for old people and all I got was “ that’s unfortunate “ Really No refund No let’s replace them For a “good” aquarium shop I would not recommend or ever visit again!
!!!… Mind the arrogant owner…!!!

Awesome store with great range of healthy fish, ranging in size and age.
Bought two breeding pairs of Oscars for my daughter. Will be heading back here to set up my additional two tanks down the track.

Fantastic experience with the friendly team at Sydney Exotic Aquariums.
Great range of healthy and happy looking fish, the staff had great knowledge behind them and were happy to help both prior to on the phone, and in store during a quick transaction.
Every question had an honest answer, with recommendations followed to suit my needs. Staff were always available and willing to help me out too.
These guys went above and beyond with service, and with great pricing to match, will definitely be back! Cheers team!

Friendly people here. But prices are very expensive. You can get almost or up to half the price a lot cheaper of what you want (fish or pellets) at Other local pet shops.

While the 1-star rating is disappointing, 99 percent of our customers have given 4 to 5 stars because of the high quality of our fish and food products.
I do not remember seeing someone like you in the store today; it is obvious you have not purchased anything from us in the past or you would have known we offer our customers a discount. There is also a VIP loyalty card for which you can get loyalty discounts.
While some of our items might be more expensive than those found at Petbarn or Petstock, keep in mind that we are a small corner store, while Petstock and Petbarn are large corporations.
I would suggest that you come see us at the store, where we would be happy to assist you in any way. I am surprised you did not voice your concerns while in the shop, given that you said we are “friendly people here.”
