We have used Malcom at Albany Vetinary Hospital for a few years, both cat & dog. Treating our cat for an unknown paralysis, believed to be struck by a car. Also, treating our dog during her pregenacies & health checks.

I found all the staff to be efficient and very compassionate when our cat was unwell and spent a couple of days in hospital.

Update.
Unfortunately, a few days after I posted this review our beautiful, gentle boy had to be put to sleep. He wasn’t an old cat so it was very unexpected. Engela and her staff were wonderfully empathetic and understanding, making this experience a little easier. Thank you to the Albany Vet Hospital.

We attended the Albany Vet hospital today, to have a suture line checked on our 7mth old spoodle, and to have him groomed for the first time. We had per telephone when making the appointment , that our pup may need sedated for his first grooming, as he has been rather anxious lately. We were never told to fast him prior to visit, and had given him breakfast. The vet nurse said they could therefore not groom him, and she did not check his suture line as we requested. We think the lack of communication and service was very poor.

Always excellent care, kindness and compassion from all staff. This is especially important as I have an anxious old kitty who needs a little extra love to get things done at the vet. All three of our fur babies are signed up here for their regular checkups and vaccinations. Thank you to everyone at Albany Veterinary Hospital for making our trips as pain free, stress free and comfortable as possible.

We are caravaning on holiday from NSW. Our little Kelpie was showing signs of distress and so took her to the AVH. She was given what we believe was the best of care to determine the cause of the distress.

She does need future observation but all is good thanks to the vets and staff at AVH.
