My friend bought her puppy here recently with all the relevant paperwork from a licensed breeder. She is very happy with the whole process. I have also been in to suss the place out for myself. I am horrified to read all these activists trying to close down a business.. It’s wrong what each of them are doing – they should each take their allegations to the relevant authorities to investigate if they have any valid claims. I suspect they don’t because they keep on harassing this business. I wonder if what they are doing is against the law. I fully intend to buy my furry friend from here – with the relevant paperwork – but you have to move fast as their Labrador litters go extremely fast and I want a black one

I purchased ‘Maggie’ just over a week ago from Angela and Nick. She has now had her complimentary vet check and today received her final vax at Claremont Vet. She got a clean bill of health and has been an absolute delight!! We are so pleased with our new best friend and family member and can only recommend Claremont Puppies and Pets unreservedly.
The advice was excellent, the staff passionate and helpful and we were given every assistance in choosing our girl!!

Don’t know how these people can even call themselves human knowing where they source their puppies from and the suffering they put the animals through just for profit. Not to mention charging over $5000 for ‘designer’ dogs which are mixed breeds from a filthy puppy farm.

The staff are very kind and helpful they will help/answer any questions you have. A huge range of pet toys and supplies. The shop is very looked after and all of the animals that are at the shop, at grooming or for sale are treated with the best care.

This is a great pet store where we bought our two new groodkr puppies that are now 11 weeks. The staff are caring and give great instructions and education supplying all the necessities at very affordable prices compared to petbarn etc. We are so happy with our healthy Golden Girls who now nearly weigh 7kg. and love them to bits. One belongs to my daughter and one mine. Plenty of parking.

My partner and I recently visited this establishment. We were extremely appalled at the condition the puppies were kept it in. It didn’t seem as though they got out much and instead were kept in cages with no toys. After we left the shop we researched this business and found that they buy their puppies from puppy farms in the eastern states. It is disappointing to know businesses like this are still allowed to operate. Please do not support this business.

We got our Bonnie (Spoodle) four weeks ago and she has been the absolute best! She has been healthy and happy. She was comfortable in the shop and comfortable once we adopted her. The attendant was so kind and gave me details as we were waiting to pick her up and then it was one-stop-shopping as we prepared ourselves for bringing a fur-baby home. We were also given a trial pet insurance policy on the house AND we were given the owners phone number to call in the event of an immediate emergency. I highly recommend Claremont Puppies and Pets!

If your interested in buying over priced mutts that come from a well known puppy farm then this is the place to go! The prices they are asking for mixed breed dogs is beyond a joke and the owner has admitted to knowingly purchasing dogs from a large scale puppy without any care for the parents or the surrounds they are forced to suffer in.

Every owner who has purchased from a pet store has blood on their hands. They are the reason so many dogs are miserable and are forced to breed long after they should be retired. The pet stores are equally to blame but it is the buyers perpetuating this horrible trade 🙁

If you are looking for a dog then you should get a rescue. It just takes a little patience to find the right fit but it will happen. There are so many dogs that need a good home. If you must use a breeder then you need to ensure that they have been bred safely. This business sources puppies from cruel and unsafe puppy farms, please google the story of Strawberry the boxer. Dogs love you unconditionally, they deserve better.

Puppies and Pets has a great assortment of different dogs, the one we purchased is absolutely amazing! He is the perfect dog for us and would highly recommend going in and seeing all the awesome ones they have! Awesome pricing on most things and free pet insurance for the first month. The puppy cuts are awesome and we have had our dog come out looking cute! Awesome staff who are very friendly and treat the dogs like family. Very impressed with this pet shop!

My cousin bought a lovely spoodle from here about a year and a half ago. Every time I visit them I look forward to seeing their spoodle. He is so friendly and playful and I would like to thank mount Claremont puppies and pets we are seriously considering getting a spoodle!!!

Customer service is very poor. Just wanted to look st the guinea pigs to decide which one I wanted until I was approached by a guy staff member and told I was not allowed to open the cage at all, but in previous visits I have been allowed to open cages and hold them. Instead of opening cage for us he just stood around and stared at us and informed other staff to keep an eye on us. Did not make me feel comfortable at all as I was expecting to take home and guinea pig but decided not to. I’m a regular customer and I’m in the store at least once a month and I’ve never seen him before or had this happen to me.

Helpful ReviewWe generally do not let people take Guinea Pigs out of the cage unless they are looking at buying. It stresses them out too much. As far as the staff member telling other staff to keep an eye on you, I am sure he just meant to make sure you were not left unattended.

This place is an absolute dive and should be put out of business. Firstly the staff completely ignored me while I waited at the counter to ask where the rabbits were (while 3 of the staff were having a conversation behind the counter) and then they all proceeded to scoff at me because I wanted to buy a rabbit. The staff were also rude and argued with me that I should buy a guinea pig instead of a rabbit (this argument continued for 10 minutes).

What lovely people to deal with. Never have I been so well informed when I have received a puppy. I have purchased puppies from breeders before now and no one has ensured that I knew exactly what to do and when to do it. So much knowledge and nothing was too much effort. We brought a beautiful little puppy off Vic tonight and I cannot express to everyone how happy and overwhelmed with how much love Vic shows for every single puppy and the new owners! We brought little “BJ” for my brother who has autism and Vic sat down with him for over an hour and a half even though they had closed trading hours and explained every little detail of what being a dog owner is! He went absolutely above and beyond for our family and we cannot thank him enough for his dedication to making sure us and the puppy had a smooth transition into our family! Would recommend this pet shop and Vic to everyone I know! Such a caring and kind hearted man! Victor is very knowledgeable when I have any concerns about my two toy poodles. Always there to give me good advice with flea treatment, worming and nutrition. Only place I take my two poodles to get groomed. After going all over the Western suburbs to get my dogs groomed, I have finally found a place that does it soo well! Angela does a wonderful job and dogs always seem to be happy and relaxed there, no anxiety at all. True animal lovers here, highly recommend dog grooming here.
