What an awesome caring vet. We are travelling and our dog had been sick for a few weeks. The clinic was so thorough eliminating the scary things and putting our minds at ease. They continually updated us with results by phone as various tests were done and were honest with what tests we should do verses what tests we could do but are not necessary at this time

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Very pleased with the care my fur baby received, I’m very fussy when it comes to the medical care of my boy but very confident and happy with the service and care he received. I will now make maraboon his primary vets.

If there were no stars they would get it.
Helpful ReviewVet failed to diagnose congestive heart failure 3 weeks ago I tried to tell the vet that she was struggling but she knew better the little dog is now dead.
Thanks a lot for making the last month of her life miserable.
I would never ever use them again.

Hi Maddy, we are very sorry for your loss. As discussed this was the diagnosis we were concerned about, and why we strongly encouraged you to allow us to do more medical work up. Sometimes it is hard for clients to understand medical diagnoses, due to emotions or other reasons. We always strive to communicate our best but it is extremely hard to give bad news. The veterinary profession is in a huge crisis right now, as it is unfair that people get upset with us when we have to give news that there pet has a condition with a very poor prognosis, or that further diagnostics are required. We are limited in this profession in what owners are willing to allow us to do. Media is such a one sided story unfortunately. We are very sorry for your loss, and one of the burdens we carry as professionals is that sometimes grief is unfairly directed at us.

I think this vet takes better care of my dog than my GP takes care of me. Professionals who put in the extra mile are rare and valuable. They ring to ask how my dog is doing after every visit. They have a customer in me for as long as I live in the central highlands.
