The worst place for cats (that’s my experience) in the entire Brisbane area. Our beautiful, fun loving, gentle cat returned from The Links after only 3 nights a different – wild animal😭. Ever since he’s scared of everything and everybody, the slightest sound makes him jump. If it was possible in Australia I would sue them to the ground!😈 DO NOT EVER LEAVE YOUR CAT in this disgusting, dirty place with people who don’t even like animals. P.S. We had flights in a few hours so we had no choice, if I only could read more reviews like that my cat would NOT SUFFER at their hands, we just would never go there! BEWARE!!!!

This is my dog, Bailey’s second stay at The Links as his first was pleasant. This time, it was a total disappointment. Bailey, a golden retriever, checked into The Links with a beautiful fluffy tail (I do have video proof showing him wagging his fluffy tail when led into the retreat by a lady) but checked out with the feathery fur on his tail cut off. It was a straight cut at the tip and some cuttings was spotted around his tail. We were totally shocked seeing this and the lady who was with us didn’t know how this happened but promise she will investigate.
I sent an email requesting for an answer but there was no reply. I wrote a follow-up email on the next day and finally got a reply saying my mails had gone to their junk mailbox. I don’t believe as we have numerous emails before but it’s ok.
What’s more disappointing is the way they reply after their “investigation”. This is what they reply:
“no one has cut or touched the feathering on Bailey’s tail whilst he stayed with us. It is not something we even engage in with the animals whilst with us. The only scissors on site are kept in the office for office stationary purposes. Thank you for understanding”
What a joke! No proper investigation and not even an apology but want me to understanding this just happened unfortunately and mysteriously.

Always take such good care of our pup for doggy daycare – would recommend. Only negative would be they need pickup by 5pm which is too early for most who work.

Awesome place to get your doge trained. Sean is a cool dude. He is really patient as well knows his shiz when training dogs. Highly recommend the boot camp for anyone serious about their training. There is follow up sessions as well included in the cost which trains you on how to be a better handler. The links have many different services such as doggy day care, hydrotherapy and boarding etc. as well. Would recommend to all my friends and family and even recommend to people I meet at the dog park 😊🐶

I have attended The Links public Dog Obedience courses a number of times over the years. If you complete the course your pooch will definitely have improved manners and be more obedient. If you work hard in the course you will get the desired results.

This place is legit! Shaun thr owner does Doggie boot amp and it really helped my overactive border collie puppy. Puppy is now well behaved and included in his boot amp was 6 additional lessons taken weekly.

Our pug loved it! We just collected our pug after a 3 week stay. She is super happy, a healthy weight and was clearly well looked after. Also she smelled amazing when we picked her up. When we inspected the property it was very clean and organised and the staff were lovely to deal with. Highly recommend!

Great Kennel, my GSD stays roughly 3-4 months out of the year. Competitive daily price and even cheaper for longing bookings. Bit of a drive for me but worth it. She always comes back to me freshly washed and loving life.

My dog had issues with her knee prior to surgery and hydrotherapy at the Links Pet Centre benefited her tremendously, postponing the need for surgery for a few months. Now she has had her surgery, I am 100% bringing my dog back for hydrotherapy to help with her recovery but also because she loves getting in the pool and having a swim.

After our vet suggested our 13 year old husky Mishka might benefit from hydrotherapy we booked a session to see how she would go. Sean walked us through the procedure and then the swimming. Have been back now once a week for 4 weeks. She can do 3 laps around the pool and loves it. Friends comment ” for an old girl she is so playful”. Benefits for her, able to walk longer distance on our morning walk, quicker recovery, happier, even lost some weight. Sean so professional and caring, she was never pushed beyond what her capability were. Vet also very happy. Thank you Sean, Barbara for providing a welcome atmosphere and achieving results.

Great place to leave dogs for a couple of days. Always well looked after. Loads of areas for them to run around. They provide food and they have a swimming pool for the dogs as well. They also train dogs. The only thing is the drop off times and pick up times are small windows and always having to plan my day around that.

I have been taking my Rottweiler to the Links Pet Centre for over 2 years. Firstly for Hydrotherapy after cruciate ligament surgery in 2016. Since then we go for weekly swimming sessions just for fun and a bit of fitness. My dog loves it. We have also done some obedience training with Sean and he is brilliant. Such a fantastic facility. Reasonable prices and in a great location.

Helpful ReviewWhen they give you a call to come back because your dog has run off and they cant catch her your heart starts racing, you turn your car around from the start of your hols, go back only to find your furbaby run out from a private residence onto a busy road so scared. The ladies trying to catch her were deeply sorry and tried all they could, but not good enough at the end of the day…

We could only drop-off our dog during the day but out of normal opening hours, but the lady very kindly offered us the ability to do this if we emailed through her vacination certificate, so we are extremely grateful to her. This enabled us to enjoy our holiday at the Toowoomba Flower Festival, and pick up our happy dog the next day. Great customer service and reasonable fees.

Worst place to take your animal. Went there a couple of years ago. The husband had to provide services due to wife being bitten by her own dog. Took our dog here and he forced him into the water and was very rough. Tried to advise us on dog behaviour. A discussing experience never going back.
