Review Summary
Here's a summary of the most recent reviews on The Pet Community
Furkids Veterinary Surgery has received mixed feedback from pet owners. On the bright side, many have praised the team for their exceptional service and affordable pricing, with some rating them an impressive 11/10 and recommending them to others. However, there's also feedback about a challenging experience where a senior vet made a pet owner feel uncomfortable due to her dog's behaviour, despite prior warnings. Fortunately, a locum at the practice later appreciated the owner's honesty, leading to a more tailored plan for the pet. This varied feedback highlights the importance of aligning with a practice that matches your values and communication style.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this Vet practice. In our first visit the Senior Vet made me feel like a horrible pet parent because my dog growled at her, when I had advised he did not like being touched and provided my own muzzle. At the last visit their “locum” actually thanked me for being honest and wasn’t offended- we worked out a plan to suit my dog which was great. Then we had issues with medication with both parties being frustrated and with us feeling intimidated by the practice …. end result – We are have now chosen a Vet Practice which seems to align with our values.

These guys were so amazing to deal with. And SO reasonably priced too. 11/10 recommend them to anyone even remotely in the area. I heard about them from a friend and she wasn’t wrong- great work team!
