Irresponsible, unethical vet practice. Vet Stu (Stuart Unsworth) in particular – who – instead of conducting any type of examination of my dog to assess whether there was any inflammation present – put pressure on me to get a swab done and then pay for a lab test (culture & sensitivity) so he could then prescribe antibiotics – without even knowing whether an infection was even present! I spoke to some other people who told me they had the same experience at this practice – one of them had been pressured into paying for 17 culture and sensitivity tests for her dogs so that antibiotics could be prescribed – without any of the dogs being examined by a vet ! This inappropriate and irresponsible prescribing of antibiotics is the main cause of antibiotic resistance – resulting in fewer and fewer antibiotic options to treat severe infections in our companion animals – until there will finally be no antibiotic options available at all.

I’m not complaining about the procedure, Dr James who first saw Honey was very ethical, taking his time listening about my concerns and responding to my questions thoroughly, very professional.
Helpful ReviewI left the dog early in the morning and the dog did not have her dental treatment until very late in the afternoon and this is fine BUT being that she old and diagnosed with a heart murmur I worried sick all day long. No one called me during this time to let me know how she was, lack of empathy and compassion.

Fantastic service right from when they picked up the phone. I was recommended to visit this vet by my local surgery as they couldn?t help my old Jack Russell. Kylie was wonderful, precise and informative. The staff were lovely and took care on my old girl. The price was very reasonable also!!
