New ownership – DO NOT USE!! New owner has introduced “late fees” without informing customers. Apparently, if a dog is dropped off 30 minutes past when they open in the morning, you are charged a $15 “late fee”.
I had been using Hair of the Dog for years, and always dropped my dog off at about 9:15-9:30am with never a comment made. Today I got a text to say I would be charged an additional $15. Numerous text messages ensued with the owner, Anna, insisting they fee would not be removed. It was only when picking up the dog and arguing our case was the fee removed. I spent $400 per year at this establishment, so they have now lost thousands of dollars of business for a $15 fee.

Took my two chihuahuas here for a wash and to get their nails trimmed. Usually, they’re quite anxious when being groomed BUT to my surprise when I picked them up, they were extremely relaxed. They treated my dogs so well and left them squeaky clean with paws to die for!

My mini cavoodle had gotten quite matted and Hair of the Dog did an amazing job tidying her up. She was soft and beautiful, they did a great job. Thanks!

We had a great experience with Lynne who groomed our standard poodle and Japanese spitz. The grooming was excellent, the dogs were relaxed, and Lynne showed me how to best maintain the coats in-between visits. We are very happy.
