AMAZING highly recommend Claude for any dog owner. Claude helped me with my GSD Chloe on our walking and general obedience. Very professional and just an all round great guy. No question to silly and took his time with Chloe and myself to make sure i understood everything.

AMAZING! My family & I are so grateful we got Jean Claude to help us with our German Shepherd, Kobe. I really wish we got Claude earlier, as his knowledge, approach, professionalism, training methods and advice was genuinely second to none. His training techniques were so clear and easy to follow and we could not believe how effective they were, after one session! We are already seeing such a difference, after only 1 week!
We really cannot THANK YOU enough Claude!!
Highly recommend Claude to anyone, you definitely will not regret it.

Claude was a lot of help with our 1 year old Rottweiler Django who loves to push the boundaries.
Most importantly Clause kept things very simple and interactive for all involved, I would definitely recommend him to anybody that doesn’t have the knowledge or experience on how to fix a dogs behavioral issues.

My boyfriend and I were referred to Claude for our 6y/o border collie, Leo. Our session with Claude was full of really useful, practical and logical information, training exercises and strategies. We also recorded the exercises to refer back to.
My favourite thing about the training so far is that it is based on sensible advice that promotes Leo thinking and making decsions for himself i.e. addressing his behaviour, not just masking it. Claude is very knowledgable and conveys the information in an easy to understand way. Highly recommend.

I seriously couldn’t recommend Claude enough: since our sessions, my 2.5yo rescue German shepherd who had problems with biting, separation anxiety, and general territorial issues has come so far with his training! I love Claudes approach to training: it’s very logical and accessible, and the lack of treats as a training method is great, especially for a dog that doesn’t care about food. Using the methods the Claude has shown me, Max is now living with chickens and a duck and there have been no issues at all, it’s a bloody miracle! Thanks so much!

I can not even put into words how grateful I am to Claude.

A couple of years ago now my Alaskan Malamute, Molly, got in a fight with a small and very old dog. This led to Molly being ceased by council 2 hrs from where I was living. The council were determined to convince me to have Molly put down. There was no way I was going to agree to this. What followed was a long and extremely stressful and heartbreaking battle which included a lot of pressure from council, a magistrates court hearing, a dangerous dog declaration & a VCAT hearing.

The whole thing was totally overwhelming and traumatic. I quickly got to a point where I was unsure how I was going to afford to continue paying my lawyer and I had no idea what to do or where to go for help. Fortunately my lawyer had a true love for animals and did what he could to keep helping me, this included recommending I contact Claude.

I will never forget the phone call this led to. Claude provides me so much great advice and guidance. He spent over an hour on the phone with me talking through my options and making suggestions. There was no judgement or blame- he simply wanted to help me get Molly back. It was such a relief to talk with someone who didn’t automatically see my big teddy bear, Molly, as a vicious, bad dog. He literally gave me hope, when I was beginning to think all hope was lost.

His great advice and support during that call, and a second one, helped me to understand what I needed to do that was best for Molly while she was in the pound for 3 months & how to go about dealing with council. Claude’s advice and willingness to help further if needed gave me the confidence and knowledge to appeal the dangerous dog declaration at VCAT- and win.

Molly means the world to me, and has been my best friend for over 9 years now. Claude probably doesn’t remember me- I’m sure he helps so many people and there dogs, and I only ever had 2 phone calls with him, but I will forever be grateful to him for his help. He clearly has amazing knowledge, skill and most importantly a true passion for helping dogs and there owners. Claude- if you happen to read this- thank-you. I don’t know what I would have done without your guidance- you gave me hope and courage to fight for Molly during a really tough, and hard time. I can not thank you enough.

I, as my first dog, adopted a stray with very little human handling (a strange decision I know!). She was sweet but she had no leash training, toilet training, was uncomfortable being inside and was generally very fearful around people and noisy situations.

The help Claude gave me with my dog was invaluable. She has become an amazing and happy and confident dog.

She is calm, well socialised and independent and suffers no separation anxiety. Her sit is great now and her impulse control has improved so much. While we still have hiccups with training and minor issues she won trainers choice out of the entire training group for the progress she has made. This training group I attended for three months from a week after I adopted her on Claude’s recommendation. After four months I decided that when it was too hot for her in my yard I put her in day care and their assessment said she was calm, polite and didn’t fixate. Their comment is that she is incredibly easy, responsive to commands and shows affection readily (I took onboard Claudes advice on choosing suitable care).

When I saw Claude I was really struggling with how much work was required but it was so worth it. I was very close to tears! But I am determined to continue to improve her training and I am re enrolling at group training for the next year! The problems with fear and prey drive are markedly improved.

I took her on a road trip and he responded with amazing advice that paid dividends in both my control of her and the confidence she built over this period. I am also careful not to put her under too much stress.

I know we still have work to do but I wanted to say thank you to Claude because the time he gave so generously was very productive. He was realistic, patient and gave me small projects to work on. Now she is calm, responsive to me (without fear) and responds in a calm manner to external stimuli. She loves dogs and still gets excited when when we see them and managing her affection/reaction is a constant work in progress (ps this is work we do on the leash).

My dog is an absolute pleasure now. She can be naughty but not in any manner that could cause harm or irritation (except to me lol!) and I feel like I have insight to the psychology behind it and the tools to help treat it.

What a trainer! Honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. Claude is thorough, clear, to the point and importantly incredibly smart. All these qualities with the addition of an acute understanding of dog (and human!) behaviour makes his training invaluable. We have a gorgeous labradoodle who is a lovely mannered dog, but when someone comes to the door she has a mini melt down! She won’t stop jumping on them, or trying to get their affection by persistent attention seeking.
Claude came over for more than the time we paid him, and by the end Whisky was a different dog.
The ongoing training that we have to do is broken down into very manageable and simple tasks. In fact, it’s the very simplicity of Claude’s training that makes me want to recommend him to anyone I know with a dog! No fancy gadgets, no extreme measures. Simple, effective methods that involve building a relationship with your dog.
Today we had contractors demolishing our laundry. She lay on her bed quietly the whole time. Before Claude’s training I would’ve had to lock her in a room, which is distressing for both of us.
Could not recommend Claude more. Worth every penny. Worth the amazing reviews.
Don’t waste time with anyone else- you certainly get what you pay for with Claude, in the best of ways.

Claude was fantastic. We have a very energetic german shepherd. Claude came out and knew exactly what to do. He explained to us why our dog acts the way he does, then told us how to stop the behaviours. Our dog Frank is coming along nicely with our new techniques.

Our family had been struggling with some behaviours exhibited by our border collie. When I came across the reviews for Claude I was skeptical, as all the reviews were 5 stars – was this too good to be true?

But now that we have had a session with Claude, we now know these reviews are all genuine. He was very intuitive with our dog, understood our concerns and gave us the tools to implement and solve the many questions we had. The session went well over time; we never felt rushed at any stage. It was very reassuring to know that if we had any further questions regarding what we had learnt, he was an email or phone call away. I would definitely recommend Claude – he has a wealth of knowledge that has helped shape how we train our dog.

Claude is amazing. He got my aussie bulldog, Gary undertaking all commands easily before the end of the session. He also kept checking in with me all the way through the session to ensure I understood and was comfortable with the training. Highly Recommend!!!

I contacted Claude after seeing pet neurologists and behaviourists as a last resort for our dog who has been suffering with compulsive behaviour issues for the last 6 months. The difference that Claude’s training and advice has made is nothing short of remarkable. I cannot recommend Claude highly enough.
