Reviewed on GoogleRecently I took in another street cat to care for after it was being treated poorly.
After a week of care and countless hours bonding with the cat. I took it to the vet to get checked up and to legally adopt it.
I signed the paperwork at the vet to state I was the interested party before The Lost Dogs home took her. I waited for the holding period which was a week and was called by them asking if I was the interested party and was told she needed a few tooth extraction. Me and my partner called every 2nd day which on average we waiting 40 min to get answered. We were told week after week that they were waiting for the dental work to be done. On the 10-11 of Sep 2022 she was adopted out to another family. Which was totally unfair given that they knew she had an Interested party and a familiar home waiting for her. Me and my partner had a lot of our time and emotions about this cat. They admitted they stuffed up and did not read their own notes / paperwork and is completely unfair. It feels like someone had died. This is completely unfair as I tried to do the right thing and adopt her legally.

Reviewed on GoogleThe staff are so rude and unprofessional, so unorganised, they have absolutely no idea what they’re doing. Just try calling them and you will see.
Helpful ReviewI “adopted” more like bought a kitten for $249.10 They had the kittens profiles all mixed up, lucky I’ve had cats in the past and while I was there I noticed the one they were advertising as male was actually a female and several other cats had their profiles mismatched which included name, age vaccination history. God knows if the one I ended up getting was the one that was actually vaccinated and microchipped. The only reason I went ahead with the adoption and didn’t just leave was because i had my kids with me and they had been looking forward to that day. I recently accompanied a friend to another adoption agency and the experience was 100x better.

Reviewed on GoogleSTAY AWAY. Good mission. The culture is toxic and management are unaccountable.
Incompetent hangers-on gang up on new starts who are threats with the help of their bizarre Head of People on culture, who does things like suddenly going on a weeks unannounced leave when she received evidence that her accusations were incorrect, but then mysteriously returns to send emails the next day. It was impossible to contact anyone in management or the board in a timely fashion. Disgrace. This organisation needs to be investigated.

Reviewed on GoogleManagement are incompetent grifters. The place has a famously toxic work culture. Employees who try to excel get gaslit, bullied and pushed out. See elsewhere.
