Unable to see our regular vet I took my limping dog to A Country Practice and I was horrified at the treatment we received ….. I told Dr. Morrell that I thought it might be a broken toe nail digging into his foot and he did examine it but not very thoroughly and when I asked if he could trim his nails while we were there he mumbled something and walked out the room leaving the obviously embarrassed young vet nurse to explain to me that he’d prescribed some anti inflammatory medication in case it was ‘a bit of arthritis’. Last week we visited our regular vet (Dr Kirsten Tunstill) … she carefully trimmed all the hair away from his foot, examined it properly and was able to remove a tiny black speck of something AND she trimmed all of his nails and ….. no more limping! We will never go to back to A Country Practice.

Absolutely appalling attitude from the Male Veterinarian who my 3 month old pup had the misfortune of being seen by. I suggested very politely, that I thought it may have been a grass seed in my pups ear. I have 2 other dogs and was noticing the same signs. Was told rudely that NO, it was NOT!! The most condescending person I’ve ever met. Absolute grumpy old man to the extreme!! On returning to pick up my pup, the so-called “Vet”, didn’t have any decency to even come out and speak with me.
Was given no Antibiotics for aftercare.
My pup became seriously ill after I was told to give it a certain amount of Panadol (for babies). I rang back and questioned the dosage to which the receptionist came back after speaking to someone, and told me that the dosage was correct.
Next morning we had to rush our pup to an emergency Vet 3.5 hours away. They were astonished to hear of the dosage that we were instructed to give. 3 times more than what our pup should have been prescribed according to his weight.
Its such a shame that you have an absolute tosser representing your Vet Clinic as I’ve seen such good reviews about the lady Vet here. I will add though, that the young receptionist/nurse was lovely & helpful and it was extremely obvious she was highly uncomfortable and embarrassed by the so-called “Vet” in questions behaviour & attitude. He also spoke to her nastily in front of myself and another person in reception. We will never return here again with our pets in case he’s there.

Very very good 5. Went to york vet twice they played a guessing game my dog almost died. A country practice northam picked it up straight away. Very lucky

Amazing vet, all the staff are friendly and helpful. They helped my dogs and at a very responsible price compared to other vets I would say they are on the cheaper side but the quailty of care and expertise is high. I highly recommend going to this vet clinic.
