Review Summary
Here's a summary of the most recent reviews on The Pet Community
Petbarn Peakhurst is highly acclaimed for its friendly and helpful staff who are always ready to assist customers with their needs, whether it's providing advice on pet allergies or helping find the perfect kennel for a new puppy. Customers appreciate the quick and efficient home delivery service, as well as the wide variety of products on offer. The discounts for members and multibuy savings are also notable perks. While some customers feel the prices are somewhat high, Petbarn Peakhurst's price-matching policy seems to alleviate this concern. The store's convenient location and easy access, coupled with the seamless click & collect service, make shopping a breeze. Although there's a minor hiccup with the sale of live fish due to lockdown restrictions, Petbarn Peakhurst continues to be a go-to destination for pet lovers.

Helpful and patient even though my parents had a lot of questions about products ranging from food to kennels for their new puppy! I was really impressed the team went above and beyond to call Petbarn Kogarah three times to ask for the extra large kennel my parents needed as Lucky will be >45kg fully grown.

Bought an aquarium, I asked the girl if i should buy the fish and the aquarium together, was told to wait at least 1 week and then to buy the fish. The girl failed to mention that all Petbarn stores do not sell live fish at the moment due to the lockdown.

Small car park, on a busy road, but appears to have at least 8 spaces, possibly up to 10.
Click & collect was easy & straightforward. I was also able to purchase an extra item I had forgotten to order.

Very professional and helpful staff. Sasha assisted in finding and adjusting a Halti for my American Staffy Ella. Sasha was generous with his time, which enabled him to calm Ella down and fit the Halti perfectly. A big thank you to Sasha. He is a credit to your business 🙂

I always shop for my cat here even though I live a couple of suburbs away. Helena, Crystal and staff are the best. Always fun and informative. The store has an energetic vibe and I am made to feel welcome, like part of the family, as soon as I enter. Also, if you ask Alexander nicely, he might show you the picture of him and his Dad. So cute! A great experience shopping here, always 5 stars.

Every single time I go in here the staff go above and beyond. Full of knowledge and never push what’s not needed. Helpful and bend over backwards. Good old fashioned customer service. Went in today for a Halti and they suggested bringing my boy in and helped fitting it. He is a bit reactive and the guys were so helpful!!!

Smaller store than most but the standout is the service. I went in yesterday with my pup to pick up a click and collect for her food and the guys working the desk came out to greet us and gave doggo all the pats and treats. Great enough experience to cancel my auto delivery order with Pet Circle in favour of Petbarn. Thanks guys!

Just went there a few minutes before close to buy some food for my pet snake and was told they couldn’t take cash only eftpos, I think because the till had been counted already. What shop won’t take cash for a sale it’s ridiculous.
