Terrible experience. My dog has gastro and the vet prescribed $60 probiotics paste and next day my dog had blood stool. I called to ask for refund of the paste and the operations manager called me to yell that nothing they had done is wrong. I did not give them enough information. Never go back again.

Dear Wendy Regretfully this reviews just has to be called out for what it is: defamatory and filled with inaccuracies.
The pro-biotic as patiently and politely explained by multiple of our vets and nurses was not the cause of the blood in the stool the next day. Gastroenteritis is a progressive disease process and as it runs its course different symptoms can and will arise. The operations manager you refer to was our owner veterinarian and you were very aggressive and demanding on the phone with him. This was very much uncalled for and he did not deserve this treatment.
Our vets have been very conscientious in their care of Riley. It is unfortunate that you have been calling and raising your voice at multiple vets and nurses, and making accusations and demands. Our team works extremely hard and with patient care as their paramount focus and does not deserve this behaviour. Unfortunately there are some individuals who will on occassion look for anything they can use to demand a refund and treat our team poorly trying to force this and we just cannot have this. It is completely unfair to treat them in this fashion.
We think it best that you start over with a new relationship fresh with an alternative veterinary practice and treat them in respectful manner. We will be happy to forward Riley’s clinical records to your new chosen vet.

I agree with some of the one star reviews, including the ones from Bankstown Veterinary Hospital (both practices are under same management) I have always liked coming here (years), Dr Bryant has always been very nice. But it has definitely gone down the hill, I think maybe because of the practice manager who seems to know very little about how to manage clients. He his very rude and does nothing except point out your points. I will be looking for and recommending other vets and practices on my socials from now on. And if I get a response to this review, that is the practice manager, highlighting another one of my points. And according to them its always your fault. Not them (the vets), sorry, the practice manager. Who knows zero about how to manage a practice. Good luck doing business with that type of attitude Chris.

We aim to provide the best care and customer service at all times. That said, we can’t be held responsible for e-mail receiving issues on your end over multiple years as a way of blaming us for not engaging us to have a dental done. Dentals were recommended upon multiple visits. E-mailed dental estimates were sent and re-sent on multiple occasions after those visits and a dental was not taken up. No e-mail bounces were ever noted by our system and each time we re-sent we heard nothing until the next visit. If you had called us to as again for the e-mail, provided an alternative e-mail or allowed us to print a copy of one of the estimates for you to collect we would have been more than happy to arrange.
There is nothing more we could have done. It is naturally always up to the client to elect to take up care or not. There is no way that we can force anyone nor do we ever try.
Even if these issues weren’t outside our control, we have a Work Health & Safety duty of care to shield our staff from threats and abuse. On multiple occasions over the phone regarding this instance and e-mail you have been aggressive, rude, belittling, and out right threatening of multiple of our team. This just cannot be accepted.
It is regrettable that a small minority of the public think it is ok to treat veterinary teams like this throughout society which is why there is such a mental health and suicide crisis within the veterinary profession and we just cannot put our staff through that. We wish you well with whichever vet you select in the future.

Just moved to the area from interstate and very glad to have found this fantastic clinic. The receptionist was patient and caring when I called, it was very easy to get a same-day booking and she was understanding that my dog was potentially infectious and handled it wonderfully. We saw Dr Carrie Lin, she was friendly and warm and excellent with my dog, and very thorough in explaining things to me. Really cannot rate our experience here highly enough, one of the best clinics we’ve been to.

This place has real genuine dedication to the pets and owners who visit this place.
We saw Dr Carrie Lin who absolutely loved our boy and paid him so much attention!
We went to go see her for a severe skin condition and she laid out all the possible options, including any side effects and potential costs involved. It made the medication decision process really easy which is what we all want.

I phoned this Vet surgery to ask their advice on a puppy I was intending to buy from a non breeder, they were really helpful and gave me time to run through do’s and don’ts even though I was not a customer. From that kindness I knew that after I purchased my new pup he would be going there. Every time we have been in the last 2 years the service has been exceptional! Good prices and they help save you money where they can. Highly recommend.

I have been taking my Dog to Boundary Rd Vet for 2 years now, they are the most compassionate and caring Veterinarian Practice we have been to. They have constantly followed up on their service, contacting us to see how our Dog was feeling as well as how we are coping. We recently took our Dog back to be put to rest and they were absolutely brilliant again. Thank you to Bryant and all the team for showing such warmth and compassion in an extremely devastating time for our family. We 100% recommend them to all pet owners not only for the care they provided but also the cost.

Please note this review is regarding chickens and birds only. Vets are nice people, but have very little knowledge of chickens or birds , despite being part of the Bankstown animal hospital which promotes itself as somewhat of an avian clinic.

Hi Joe. We are very sorry to hear about your chicken Bluey.
Unfortunately your review mischaracterises a few things. Our vet noted several physical and condition abnormalities and you both discussed how this was different to his cagemates and what may have lead to this. eg. difficulty competing for food amongst the group. You were given some advice that may have been able to assist with cagemates etc. We are sorry to hear that it sounds like there was not enough time for condition improvement. Unfortunately our feathered friends’ health can turn more suddenly than other species. With regard to promoting ourselves as an avian clinic, this is not accurate. On our websites under Advice, Training and Boarding we do have a general advice Bird Care page but we do not promote ourselves as an avian clinic. Our vets do enjoy seeing avian patients and if we can see a complex case needs referral to a bird specialist will readily do so.
We wish you well in the future with any feathered or furry friends you may have.

I’ve always been happy to recommend this clinic to anyone who asks as the staff are usually friendly and helpful. However, I am shocked and disappointed in the treatment and care of my cat today. When I asked for her front nails to be trimmed and for her to be wormed, the vet asked if he could take her to the back room with his assistant, which I allowed, I then heard her growling and struggling for what seemed like far too long and the sounds coming from there did not sit well with me. When they brought her back to me she was frothing at the mouth, with the fur around her neck falling off in clumps and extremely distraught. Once I was home, I noticed they had used blunt clippers on her and the cuts were really close to the quick, she also struggled to close her mouth and spent the rest of the day under my bed. I would recommend you be present with your pet during their check-ups at all times.

Some of our feline friends in particular are none too fond of being handled when visiting the vet. When clipping nails with a patient who is not enjoying the experience the nails may be a little rougher but we always try our best to handle an unhappy patient as safely as possible.
You may want to try a pre-visit mild sedative to make the visit less stressful.
