We have left our small parrot (conure) with Noonies Pet Care a few times now and each time he has a great time and comes back happy. They take him out the cage, give me cuddles and let him wonder around/watch TV etc -just like he does at home. What is great too is that you can pay extra for pick up and drop off service. He is in very capable hands and I would recommend Noonies to anyone.

Darrin & Carol (NOONIE’s) Did an amazing job looking after our two Jack Russels Billie & Ringo. The wife and I had to go overseas urgently and had nowhere to leave our two dogs. As these dogs have loads of energy they needed to be walked every day as they can be quite mischievous & cause havoc around them.

My rabbit broke her legs severely when staying at Noonies in last December. Darrin couldn’t give me a clear answer, he suggested my rabbit just did it all to herself while staying inside her cage. The 2 exotic vets I went to, however, thought it was almost impossible for any rabbit to break their own legs that badly. After the operation, I still had to put my rabbit down due to the extent of her injury. She was a beautiful, healthy and happy rabbit who was only 4 years old. During the 3 years I looked after her, she did not get sick once. I paid for the boarding, pet transportation and of course all the vet bills that came with the incident. I am reluctant to leave a negative review, but I want to share my own story so that other pet owners can be aware of the risk. When things go well, it’s great. But when things go wrong, you may never know what really happened to your pet even when he or she was supposedly being cared for.
Edit: In response to Darrin’s comment below:
Dear Darrin
First of all, Boon was in perfect health before I sent her to your boarding. She had her annual health check every year, and since I looked after her myself, I know better than anyone if there is any problem with her bones. Bone problem is not a light issue and rabbits will definitely show signs if something is not right. She was completely fine when she was with me. Also, for a young rabbit like her, bone density is usually not an issue.
Secondly, her second leg’s soft tissue was damaged in the accident, that’s why it didnt show in all of the xrays I took (Xray only shows bone fractures, not soft tissue damage). With one leg gone putting all pressure on the other leg, the damage got worse and at the end the hip became disallocated, which was shown in the last xray.
Thirdlly, regarding to Boon’s cage, the cage was made to fit 2 rabbits. She had used that cage for 3 years with no problem. Also, Boon had never been in her cage 24/7. All rabbits owners/care takers understand that rabbits need regular exercise on a daily basis. She always had hours of roaming free outside her cage, which I mentioned to you the first time I sent her over. About the bedding, I already spoke to you and Carol the morning I dropped her off and was reassured that you would change it for me right away.
Lastly, I do not need an autopsy as I had to put her down myself. All the neccessary tests had been done in the hope to save her life. Healthy rabbits do not break their legs all by themself that badly. And if it got something to do with her cage, then maybe she didnt get enough exercise when she was with you, to the point she couldnt stay calm in her own cage?
I do not blame you for causing her the accident, but it was the truth that she got into the accident when she was in your care, and no one could give me a better answer than “she probably did it all to herself”. It took me a while to put this review online as I did not want to do this out of anger or despair. Grieving takes time. The review was as fair and truthful as it could get.

We went overseas for 6 weeks knowing our dog was in great care. Darrin and Carrol took extra care with our dog and our place. Taking our dog 4 daily walks, feeding our dog, watering the plants, collecting mail etc. We communicated through emails on weekly basis leaving us extra relaxed.

My dog came back with a foot bleeding. when i rang up to find out what happened i was told my dog is impossible to walk and the lady that was walking him was a small lady and couldnt controll my dog.He then proceeded to tell me they dont walk my dog they take him to a off leash park. My question is why were these issues not addressed when i re booked him for a walk. If they knew my dog was hard to walk why did they send someone who was not capable of doing so!! ! not even a apology!!! Terrible!!!!
