I was introduced to Dr. Geert back in 2015, when I bought a gorgeous Ticked Tortoiseshell Tabby Cat with a rare Agouti Coat. I was so impressed with the expertise and caring nature of Dr. Geert that I started to bring my other two cats to be treated by Dr. Geert Lampen for their yearly needles and other more serious treatments and general Dental Checks plus more. Dr. Geert has the latest equipment and it is very easy to arrange any x rays and blood tests plus more to make sure the animals have every chance of a good recovery from whatever ailments they may have at the time.
Dr. Geert Lampen also has other very good vets namely Dr. Drikus who has been with the Manning Veterinary Hospital since 2021.
I would recommend everyone with a Dog or Cat or Bird to start visiting Dr. Geert and Dr. Drikus and I am sure that you will be very happy with the Expertise and Care given by the Vets and Vet Nurses and Reception Staff at Manning Veterinary Hospital at Taree NSW. Plus like myself I am sure you will continue visiting the Veterinary Staff forever.
I am very happy that I have continued for the last Ten Years to have my cats treated at Manning Veterinary Hospital as the Cats have received the best of care every time.

Took my dog for a second opinion after was treated by other vets poorly given wrong medication for a fugal infection in his nose , bleeding after my poor dog had not got any better from a previous vet,the vets at Manning veterinary hospital agreed that he was treated for the wrong infection it was a frugal infection not a bacterial infection so they took a x-ray and nessary tests,up front with the costs and put my dog on two rounds of ani fugal medication his nose stopped bleeding after 3 days and he is on the mend a lot better than he was thank you for your help and support professional caring service

Dear Kathryn. I believe you might be reviewing the wrong clinic as we do not service large animals at all. We only look after small animals. We would have referred you and not declined services we don’t offer in the first place. Maybe remove this review as it’s not fair on our vet hospital.

I can’t thank the nurse who answered my call this afternoon enough. My chihuahua has re-injured her knee while we are on holiday and my usual vet was not willing to help me so I was desperate. Manning vet was able to dispense some medication for my dog despite being run off of their feet and only having 30 mins til closing time. You have saved my dog from suffering a night of knee pain.

On the 14th of June. Our family had to say our goodbyes to one of our kids Sheva she had a great life the old girl she ran in to the vets knowing it was her time she ran in on 3 legs she was a gentle giant in dog years she was around 90 years of age

We moved into the area 3 years ago with our then 10 year old spoodle, Harvey. Harvey had been suffering with “itchy issues” for 8+ years – dragging his bottom about, constantly scratching and suffering recurring ear infections. Our vet in Sydney prescribed various medications on a weekly/monthly basis.
Our first visit to Geert @ Manning Veterinary Hospital was the beginning of the end of Harvey’s suffering! Geert and Cathy are our angels from heaven.
It wasn’t without a great deal of angst, as Harvey loved his chicken neck nightly feed.
We placed him on a Royal Canin Allergy Free diet and it was difficult for us all! Harvey didn’t eat much for a few weeks, but eventually realised what we placed in his bowl was all he was getting. He now loves every morsel of his dry food and has become a lover of cucumber, carrot, zucchini and celery.
Harvey has not rubbed his bottom raw on the concrete or carpet, hasn’t had recurring ear infections and is no longer scratching himself constantly.
He has been allergy free for 18 months and without the diagnosis from Manning Veterinary Hospital – he wouldn’t be living his best life!
Thank you Geert and Cathy – I couldn’t recommend you both and your beautiful staff more highly.

I have been using another vet for routine visits for years but had a few emergency cases in the previous months that have required me to use manning vet.
The team at Manning Vet are so amazing, vet nurses all so lovely and caring, and Dr Cathy is so compassionate and understanding, and Dr Ruan ia also amazing. My boy Wilbur was in a bad way and Dr Ruan was extremely thorough in his examination and advice moving forward. As a result my boy is home against all odds.
Despite having a small drive to get to Manning Vet, they will remain my local vet from here on in. I wouldn’t take my current and future dogs anywhere else. Five star treatment, all staff go above and beyond for the pets (and owners) in this clinic each and every visit.
