Dishonest and unreliable. I rang for a quote and was told to come in to get a fee check and quote done, only to find they charged me close to 90 dollars, which I was told should have been free. The vet was nice but he was going to pass the work onto someone else. Altogether unreliable and I will not go there again. Very poor service to tell someone come in for a free quote and then charge them. Check and double check before using them.

Today we said goodbye to our wonderful Foxy. I can’t thank Dr Steve and his staff enough for the beautiful and peaceful send off she got. Such an emotional time, Dr Steve put my husband and myself at ease. He explained everything to us. Even got chicken for Foxy. Which was so touching. Again a Hugh thank you to all the staff. We really can’t thank you enough.

Took my Labrador here for the first time yesterday because my regular vet has closed for 5 months. We received outstanding service from Maryanne, nothing was too much trouble and things were explained in a way which was easily understood. Also had a pleasant surprise with the bill, Benson’s ongoing medication was almost half the price and his vaccination was also cheaper by just over $30.00. Wanneroo veterinary hospital will definitely be our vet of choice in the future. Thank you Maryanne and the rest of the team.

I have been taking my dog here for 2 years now however this last experience will be my last. Took my dog in for a yeast infection in his ears and was told this can sometimes be diet relate and to change him to Spring water Tuna and fish biscuits. After 2 weeks we knew something was wrong with my dog acting up and vomitting. Finally googled if dogs can have tuna ( obviously hadn’t previously due to recommendation by the VET) and by surprise tuna is only safe in small amounts as a treat as can cause mercury poisoning if given to them every day.
I contacted the vets to which I didn’t get a call back until the next day and was just told that it’s fine. However the vet had put in my dogs notes that she discussed “grain free salmon” which was never mentioned in our appointment. The vet who called me just kept giving stats on how rare mercury poisoning is in dogs. lucky my dog is a big dog and probably would need a lot more to cause major health issues however I could only imagine if this was a small dog or we had kept giving our boy Tuna for more weeks. Will not be returning here especially after the lack of care they had when I called.

Happy with vets, been going 14 odd years.l with different pets. Disappointed I got quote for surgery in aug, call to book on Feb, ask is all the same was told I need to book a consultation in addition because it been so long. No worries makes sense. Then after the surgery find out costs have gone up by 20% for surgery (not including the consultation). Wish they confirmed this when I booked. They said they can’t inform everyone they had a price increase. Bit disappointing.

Hello Amanda, thanks for your feedback – my apologies for the delay in getting back to you. We had 4 vets off with COVID last week including myself so things were hectic at the Hospital. I’d love to chat to you some more about your experience this time round and would like to improve upon it. If you’d like to reach out to me on steve@wanneroovet.com.au, I will be able to find you and your pet’s details, and we can go from there.
      Many thanks, Steve Cooper.

They are hopeless. Was told my dog had a broken growth plate without even a X-ray and he would need amputation they are rude and heartless also charge $90-$100 to be told they can’t treat your pet as they don’t have the equipment even without console absolute joke

If I could put 0 starts at this point I would. We were told that my cat had less than a 50% chance of survival after an incident with a “car”. Was told he had internal bleeding and lots of injuries. After being spoken to very rudely we then ended up having to argue so I could take my cat to my own vet after being taken to them from a member of the public. When we called to let them know that we would arrange payment for the care they provided before us being notified they were again rude. Stay away if possible plenty of other caring vets around!
