Friendly service, handy location, my pets are always well looked after. The Vets always look for the best option, rather than the most expensive one. They always have my pets best interests at heart.

The staff went above and beyond to care for our greyhound when she was sick. I found it difficult having her stay in hospital overnight but staff provided updates regularly which really helped. I also appreciated Michael coming in after hours on Easter Sunday. He was so lovely and kind about it all. Honestly, fantastic service.

Very professional and sympathetic service when I had to have my 15 yr old Pug dog Poppy put down
Shortly after this happened I received a sympathy card following my loss which was actually hand written
Definitely recommend for any pet needs

We had a great first visit with our new puppy Winston. We were greeted by friendly faces at the main entrance and our Vet Leanne was great and very thorough, taking us through everything we needed to know and answering all of our questions. We look forward to our next appointment!

A very friendly and helpful team. I am a new resident to Warragul and I feel so reassured to have found an amazing Vet service to care for my animals. Reception staff and Vet, Carla were all fantastic. The genuinely friendly nature of the staff and their excellent customer service is appreciated.

Leanne has a fantastic wealth of knowledge, especially when it came to our GS. Very refreshing seeing a vet that understands different breeds and their behaviours and is not afraid but understanding of that. Makes for a relaxing vet visit!!

Staff were very understanding and compassionate, treated my pet with great care and showed me how to continue treatment for my pet at home. Costs were explained upfront and very reasonable. Great small animal knowledge (specifically rabbit).

The staff at West Gippsland Vet Care are always friendly and helpful. They show so much care for your beloved pet, and happy to answer any questions you have… we also love the beautiful property gardens. I am especially greatful for the after hours service they provide, as I recently had to call, and was provided with great advice and care. Thank you 😊

We arrived to the clinic and were promptly greeted, Jersey was given lots of love from staff and offered treats (even a pigs ear which she is still loving today).
The vets were loving, considerate and attentive to her needs. One visit and I know Jersey and I have found her vets!

I called WGVC because my regular vet could not fit my dog in, despite her needing urgent care. Even though their schedule was also full they made the time and took her case on that day and provided her with excellent care. She needed an xray, ultrasound, a blood transfusion, abdominal surgery and to stay for two nights, all of which was carried out onsite with extreme care and professionalism. When I took Josie back in for her post-op check she was happy to go in and greet the staff – for a dog who has always been anxious at the vets, to me this speaks volumes about the care and comfort she received while at WGVC.
The staff were also incredibly friendly and kind to me, they gave me time and space to visit Josie before and after the surgery and were empathetic to my concern (and occasional teariness!) over her. They kept me informed every step of the way and were very open and honest about the risks, possible outcomes and costs involved (which were very reasonable considering the extensive procedures and care Josie needed).
The place itself (Warragul location) was clearly well equipped and maintained and just has a good feel about it. The waiting area and consult rooms were welcoming and clean, the parts I saw of out back, including the surgery, were spotless and the large dogs’ ward was well organised and comfortable.
This is the first time I’ve written an online review of a business but I wanted to let people know that their furry family members will be well cared for with WGVC. I already have, and will continue to, highly recommend them to anyone.

To the staff: Regardless of the outcome I will be forever grateful to you all. Your professionalism and care with Josie; your empathy, understanding and honesty with me; and even your dedication to reducing covid risks wherever possible, have all earned a loyal client from me. It brings me great comfort to know that no matter the results of the tests – malignant or benign – Josie will receive the best possible care for the rest of her life, however long that may be. Thank you.
