Review Summary
Here's a summary of the most recent reviews on The Pet Community
The Travelling Vet attracts widespread praise for compassionate, at-home veterinary care, with Fiona repeatedly highlighted for empathy, professionalism and a gentle, reassuring approach during end?of?life care and home euthanasia. Clients report calmer examinations for anxious pets, quick responses and reliable follow?ups, plus reasonable fees and the convenience of home visits that families truly value in tough times. Many reviews gush about the personal touch—handwritten cards and ongoing support—that makes a painful process feel a little easier, and long?standing customers say they would gladly recommend the service. A minority note limitations on travel areas or share a single negative interaction, but overall the feedback presents a warm, trusted option for caring, in?home pet care.

Fiona has been looking after both our Labs for awhile now , & unfortunately we had to have our 16yr old black Lab Rosie put to sleep at home earlier this week . I cannot express enough how grateful Michelle & myself are for your caring & compassionate way that you went about it . Your professionalism in explaning the whole process is incredible Fiona . Fiona is one in a million.
I had the unfortunate visit with Fiona coming to our home last week to send our 14 yr old Ned off to puppy heaven.
Her professionalism, compassion, caring nature was next level. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience at such a devastating time for us.
Today I received a beautiful hand written card with a very fitting poem from Fiona.
Can’t thank you or recommend you enough, I love your caring down to earth approach and personality, you are a gem.
Cheers Sharyn

I decided to try Fiona for my anxious vet phobic greyhound’s annual check up. It was so much better having the check up at home. Fiona was able to properly examine her. Usually our dog is hyperventilating too much she can’t be examined properly. Fiona also took bloods and had results back to us within 2 days. I would recommend The Travelling Vet to anyone who has a dog that freaks out at the vet.

Fiona is always responsive and professional and has provided compassionate service to my fur babies for over 15 years. She does a fantastic job with my anxious lab cross girl, who really doesn’t think much of vets😊

Contacted this travelling vet whose website clearly stated that she went to Croydon and surrounding areas. We live in Kilsyth. 3km from Croydon. Was not willing to travel to Kilsyth for dying 16 year old cat. Picture emailed to her showing a bloody mucus discharge from our cat but even that was not enough for this vet to home visit an area stated on her web site. She was unwilling to help in an hour of need and needs to change the language and listed suburbs that she is willing to travel to so people are not left for hours with a dying pet waiting to hear that she wont help.
