Beyond grateful for the clear and efficient training to certify our family dog as an assistance dog. Trainer Alex was reliable, incredibly knowledgeable, clear in communication, experienced and works with your teams (you and your dog) ability to get you where you want to be, be that basics or advanced.

Paddington Pups
We recently used Positive Response Dog Training to take our team through a dog first aid course. Our instructor Jayda was excellent. She was extremely knowledgable, friendly and thorough, ensuring everyone in the room understood the different concepts and answered all of our questions with ease and professionalism. She not only spoke on topics in a general sense, but also went into more detail about how to deal with situations that we would be most likely to encounter in the place we work which was super helpful and relevant!
The ‘demonstration assistant’ pup was also super cute and very friendly which made the whole thing even more enjoyable! Will definitely be going back to these guys when we need a course refresh next year!

Positive Response provided a fantastic, comprehensive training regime to get my dog ready for her public access test to obtain GHAD accreditation. Alex took the time to understand my medical issues and identify how the dog naturally interacted with me, to be able to provide the most optimal alert methods for both of us. We worked together in a time frame which suited all, and the ability to update with material out of session certainly helped in maintaining the training momentum. Penny and I had a “positive response” from puppy school stage one our trainer Rikki was fantastic and very informative I can definitely tell she loves what she does showing such passion in making sure all pups and owners understood what she was asking and showing us to do, I would definitely recommend this program to any new dog owners or even those who haven’t had a pup in a good few years like myself, thanks again

Have completed two courses and learned a lot. Trainers are very knowledgeable and back up their tips with stories from their own experiences. Only improvement would be if classes could be in a larger space or outdoors (in a park, for example)

Positive response dog training was recommended to me by a friend a few years ago. We had bought a new puppy and noticed very early on she has anxiety and wouldn’t even walk past our drive way. With the right training from Shelly, we learned how to reward our dog and she loves her walks now. Shelly educated us on how to positively reward our dogs. Her anxiety is still there but we now know how to work through it. THANKS SHELLY ?
