The staff really care about the animals and owners. Jamie, one of the veterinarians, has looked after my cat who has been sick. You feel at ease and get a sense that they really care about treating each animal individually. Great communication, fairly priced, always on time and a relaxed environment. Will continue to take my cat here!

Absolutely love them, I have been trying to find a vet that understands my cats needs as she a rescue & very nervous kitty plus I need a vet that can understands disability as i am deaf & austistic. Finally got her the medication she needs to help her. I gone through services before to help pay for vets bills and they treat you really nasty but Mountain gate vet clinical understands my financial and very supportive. Very happy to finally found a vet that works very well with my baby & me!

“Not” ‘fantastic’ but well good enough a business practice &, seemingly with animal car prioritsed over profiteering. I’ve canned the other veteranarian we went to for extreme, blatant price gouging so thought it ethical to also write up encountering acceptably good service.
Helpful ReviewThe pricing has been reasonable – not cheep (..which vet is) but constrained; there’s been an inconvenient appointment stuff up but, that’s ok & (importantly) seemingly some genuine empathy to our dog’s condition with extra time taken to broach alternate treatments & explain methodology, reasoning & conclusions from the 3(?) different appointment-ed medico’s.
We have to visit again and they’re now -with wary confidence [yes, is oxymoronic]- our 1st ‘go to’ vet business. Remember, ALL service vendors are 1stly a capitalist business trading their particular expertise & to date, with us, ‘Mountain Gate Vet Clinic’ has conducted ‘fair trade’.

The vets here are so nice and caring. Reasonable prices and are super supportive when we bring our little boy to see the vet when he is always super nervous.

I have been going to this vet for more than 10 years.
Helpful ReviewJamie his wife Mandy and their team are very good veterinarians, brittany the vet nurse was so lovely and helpful. The customer service they provide is always fantastic. They have looked after my pets very well. My beautiful bichon frise was diagnosed with a heart condition and diagnosis was not good but Jamie was able to put him the right medication and he lived a very good life for alot longer than anyone thought. They were fantastic when he got really sick they came to my home to look after him in the best possible way in the last hours of his life. When I needed to organise the cremation of my beloved pet they had all the details I needed. Which made it very easy in my time of grief.
He has also looked after my schnoodle since getting him from the local pet shop were Jamie was their vet. He has just had some surgery and has healed really nicely hecalso had his teeth cleaned. Jamie did a fantastic job.
We also just took our new puppy a miniature poodle for her health check and vaccinations.
If you are looking for a caring and very kind veterinary practice that is also reasonably priced. I would definitely suggest mountain gate vet.

All the staff at Mountain Gate Vets have been very caring. For almost 20 years we’ve taken our two staffies there. We mainly saw Jamie and occasionally Mandy. Both are caring and experienced vets. Their service was thorough and cost conscious. They gave excellent and sensible recommendations for our dog’s end of life care. They don’t over service by suggesting tests etc with return visits, and their fees have always been very competitive. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I have been having some issues with my puppy and after some very poor experiences elsewhere at a much bigger practice, I’ve finally found a genuine, caring and EXPERIENCED vet who knows what to look for, is thorough, and doesn’t overcharge. I am so glad that I found Mountain Gate Vet, they are the real deal, which I’ve discovered is hard to come by when finding a vet.

Always had good service but recent experience the vet really went above normal. We discussed future plans that will affect our cat and her temperament etc and got some good advice and some meds to help her anxiety during an impending move. We just went for general check up with vet asked about her life, normal behaviour, situations etc. Not just a revolving door situation but a thorough check up with lots of consideration considering my tigger is very shy and nervous

Recently my beautiful Juno awakened with a red and very swollen infected eye. I cannot recommend Mountain Gate Veterinary Clinic enough. Drs Mandy and Jamie Hegarty saw Juno immediately and she is now recovering nicely. Just wanted to say a big thank you to the staff and Dr. Liz at Mountain Gate Vet. We had to put down our beloved Bichon-Maltese cross of 15 years yesterday which was very difficult to do. The staff were so compassionate and thoughtful and helped us through this awful time. We have been using Mountain Gate Vet for 5 years and I highly recommend them!
