I would like to thank Gavin and his staff for all they did over the years for my shar pei Teddy Bear who sadly passed away after long term terminal illnesses. Teddy was 17 years of age.
Teddy loved everyone there. You all gave him a long life well above his breed mortality rate.
I will always be eternally grateful for the care and love you gave to Teddy. I can never repay you for all you did. Teddy was allowed to pass away with dignity.
Thank you for everything. Changing vets gave me Teddy for longer than expected.

Fantastic experience. Took my one year old staffy for a check up. My baby still has the puppy excitement and forgets her manners sometimes, which didn’t bother the staff at all. One receptionist even coming out to give my girl big kisses and cuddles.

I highly recommend St Francis Vet! The vets, Gavin, Nick and Brooke are so amazing and all of them along with all the nurses are so caring when you bring your pet in. They are thorough, caring and knowledgeable and always answer all my questions in detail and spend as much time as I need with them. They are not out to make money and genuinely care about the animals they treat. My dog has had to have 2 knee surgeries with them and I wasn’t even the slightest bit anxious or worried about leaving him there as I trust all the staff there 1000%!

The staff are friendly and efficient and the vet on duty was great. She was good with my cat and very nice and welcoming. They know what they are doing I had been going there for a long time but I hadnt been for a couple of years with my cat only because I have another vet that is closer but I will be going to St Francis in the future because I feel they are not out to make money and have great vet skills.

Had an emergency with our labrador earlier. St Francis Vet were able to attend to him immediately. So relieved that they were able to help and diagnose him so quickly. The consult itself was good with very clear information being relayed on the steps taken to identify what the problem was and also, how to remedy it. Happy that we’ve also now found our new regular vet.

Beware. If I could give negative start I would. The vets in this clinic specially Gavin is highly incompetent and have no interest in your pet wellbeing. He is a member of veterinary gang that harm your pet and then refers you to Murdoch vet hospital for your pet to be tortured by the rest of gang.
Helpful ReviewI took my dog there 2 months ago to seek treatment for her diarrhoea and despite my request he failed to run diagnostic test and heavily medicated my dog for possible colitis. My dg condition got worst after 2 days. Then Gavin asked his other gang member (the guy with mobile ultrasound machine – he is not an specialist so beware) for possible pancreatitis. Gavin then heavily medicated my dog with opioid painkiller knowing that this medication will adversely affect my dog kidney and liver. While my dog was lethargic from the pain relief medication he refer us to Murdoch vet emergency where my dog was taken hostage and hospitalised and traumatised and heavily medicated for 5 days before I could have her rescued from the hands of those other gang members in Murdoch hospital. My dog was severely traumatised and harmed by unnecessary medications and procedure. Please avoid this clinic and if you can any vet that had graduated from Murdoch. There is something seriously wrong with these people and their attitude towards animals and their owners.

St Francis Vet Hospital has been around for many years; always staffed by kind, caring and knowledgeable veterinarians with a wealth of experience and friendly, helpful staff. After taking my previous cats some years ago, I’m again back again with my two adopted female cats for the past three years…still receiving great service, kindness and with healthy cats to show for it! Dr Gavin Friedlieb is my favourite vet and I trust him implicitly with my precious four legged family members.
