As a dog owner, you have rights and responsibilities both to your pet and to the community.
Always obey any signs regarding dogs and when and where you can allow them off their lead. Dogs that are taken off their lead must remain under control of a person at all times. At times you should carry a chain, cord or leash to restrain your dog, dog owners must remain within effective voice or hand control distance of the dog at all times. A person in charge of the dog must not allow the dog to chase or threaten another person or animal.
The most common dog complaint is about dog droppings or dog waste on footpaths and in parks. Please ensure that you remove and dispose of your dog’s waste in public places.
Always remember to be respectful in open spaces as they are used by dog lovers, sports lovers and nature lovers.

Reviewed on GoogleGreat spot, some trees a bit scary in high winds, but good view, however if you are fully self contained, don’t use their showers etc the price is too high, with the cost of fuel now we need to guard every penny to keep touring and spend money in towns, for instance we spent over $450 in Nowra with fuel, gas, groceries and swimming centre and coffee shops. Councils need to consider the spend before overpricing a safe place to stay overnight

Reviewed on GoogleGreat spot! Very cheap at $20 for a powered site. Great water pressure in men’s showers. Grounds keeper is very friendly, dogs allowed and a nice bush walk along the Shoalhaven River at the back of the site.

Reviewed on GoogleGreat spot. Close to town but far enough that it’s quiet and calm.
Helpful ReviewBeautiful walk from the camping area down to the river through caves and forest. Amenities were basic but hot showers. Plenty of power and water hook ups but some sites need long hose or extension leads as it can be a little far between connections.

Reviewed on GoogleHistoric in style. Dirt roads and parking around back of ground. Some basic seating to be had outside of the single grandstand.

Reviewed on GoogleIt’s not well fenced for dogs and there’s lots of crazy/rude people that always seem to go there, it’s a waste of time and energy.

Reviewed on GoogleLovely showground.very well priced at $16 a night. Obviouslywell cared for and used a lot. Plenty of space for us to camp with our large rv and our dog. Amenities are old, but clean and well cared for. The views are stunning. Bens Walk was great. And proximity to shops and restaurants is great.
