BUYER BEWARE – these guys are not transparent with their charges.
Two ‘consultation fees’ for a dog with arthritis just so they can bump up the price. When my mum questioned it, they said she was rude for questioning. It’s all about money.
The dogs been treated there for 10 years but the new staff are just plain rude.
If you are from the Port Macquarie area, stay clear, everyone else agrees that they are a rip off.

Great work from Nat and Dr Jill in giving my 4 year old Papillon a very thorough dental treatment and blood test. Discharge was especially well handled by Dr Jill with clear explanations and sharing of X ray details. Also provided us the option of their Best for Pet wellness program with no hard sell and with some good benefits including an annual payment plan. Have been using Dr Paws for 4 years and have always been highly satisfied. Strongly recommend.

I would only trust my fur baby, Buddy, in the care of Dr. Paws. They have the most knowledgeable Veterinarians in Port Macquarie. Whether it’s a surgery Buddy needs to something as minor as getting his nails clipped, they’re always friendly, attentive and put my mind at ease that Buddy will receive optimal care. The customer service overall at Dr. Paws is extraordinary. The entire team is wonderful and caring to every pet and pet owner that walks through their door. I can’t say enough how grateful I am for the attention and care they’ve given Buddy in the past years. If you love your pet as much as we love our Buddy, there’s no other option but Dr. Paws. Thank you Dr. Paws!

Dodgy. Called to get a weekend appointment gor yearly vaccinations, was told there are none available unless willing to pay an extra $250. False diagnosis of a condition that would require thousands of dollars worth of tests. This was later proven to be false by second opinion. Would not recommend.

Dr paws veterinarians and girls are fantastic our poor poodle hurt her leg a few weeks ago late in the evening and unfortunatly our usual vet did not offer after hour services . When i called the receptionist josie was able to get us in straight away to be seen even though it was 7.30pm , Our furchild was well taken care of after staying the night and we were even contacted later in the night to update us on her condition. We have now changed vets to continue her treatment and everytime we have attended we are always welcomed with smiling faces and the veterinarians are very thorough and professional

One of my friends brought her FEMALE ferret there to be desexed and she showed us a photo post op and it looks HORRIFIC! significant bruising, skin looks bundled up as if they just wrapped a random lump of it to stitch together and the stitching looks so awfully done!! stitch bits poking out and they recommended she wear a cone and gave her no pain relief medication afterwards.
I also had my female ferret desexed at another vet and you could not see the stitches as they were internal and there was just minimal crusting along the incision line.
She was given 10 syringes filled with a little bit of pain relief to give over 10 days and she did not go near her incision site because it did not bother her at all.
Your staff should NOT be desexing FEMALE ferrets or female PETS OF ANY KIND if this is the way you treat them!!
