Very thorough service and explanations were provided, to the point where pictures were shown on the computer and an information take home pack was provided free of charge. I was very impressed when the reception staff even sanitised the scales (they already looked clean) before weighing my pup because she had not been fully vaccinated yet. Super friendly staff who I could have sat and chatted to all day. I was respected, as was my pup. Thanks again for such wonderful service. I’ll be back.

Have been here quite a few times for my little dog, due to being a cross poodle he gets ear problems often:( Dr Sam had constantly spoken to me like a child, being a younger dog owner myself and making me feel like a terrible owner. Not to mention the rude way she addresses her staff every time I have gone to this practice (so extremely unprofessional screaming at your staff and just not needed in any profession in my opinion) I recently attended, I saw dr Sam again, she then went on to give my dog a needle without asking me or notifying me, then charged me $225 for the visit including some tablets that have done absolutely nothing (when I got home my dog was extremely unsettled and uncomfortable from whatever she did in the other room). I then Went for a checkup a few days after and she said it was clearing (it most definitely hasn’t!! and even after the checkup call I had told them how unsettled she had made him and I was told to take him to an emergency vet???)
I’ve kept quiet enough about the rudeness of this vet. She clearly has no intention for looking after her clients but only bettering herself. Reading other people’s reviews and dr Sam’s responses is absolutely atrocious and unprofessional. I’ve never seen anything like it, and it’s quite embarrassing the way she has responded to customers experience from her awful attitude. No doubt I’ll be addressed just as rudely and made out to be an awful dog owner just as she has to other people’s reviews. And I’ll happily take my dog elsewhere. Think She needs a reality check and to realise the profession she is in, please stop constantly telling us how long you have been a vet for because this does not mean you can disrespect animal owners and does not mean you are above anyone in anyway, we are paying for your service to help our animals not your awful criticism and attitude. As I said I’m most definitely not one to leave a review like this, but seeing other people’s reviews and them having similar if not the same experience with this dr it needs to be said. She Will quite happily take the payment but as soon as you mention the state your animal has been left in, your sent to take him elsewhere.. disgusting service!

The vet named Sam is a absolute battle axe , she is unbelievably rude and it seems like she just “diagnoses” the poor pets that go in there with anything that they can milk money from . Its a real shame some vet clinics have resorted to the money grab instead of actually caring for our pets . Honestly I don’t recommend any one to go take they’re fur babies here , that women is a twisted rude individual and you shouldn’t own or work at a place like this .

Zann your behaviour was repeatedly rude at every visit. Your unwillingness to fill in the mandatory covid register was intolerable. You were told to leave because of your rude behaviour to our receptionist and our vet. We dont tolerate rudeness or aggression at all. We have zero tolerance for your behaviour. I’ve just looked up your records after your last visit. And I remember who you are. Leaving your cats mouth to rot with a painful mess of teeth is not acceptable and cruel. – one of the large molar teeth was so rotten I pulled it out with my fingers. I’m sorry you don’t have the money to provide treatment for your lovely cat. I also didn’t deserve the rude way you spoke to me, and dismissively continued to play on your phone to text for a good five minutes while I tried to treat your cat. Your behaviour was appalling. I wish your cat all the best for the future.

When it comes to your pets you need people who you can count on to help you if they get sick or injured and YVH has the most amazing team to do just that. Our dog has been going to Yanchep Vet since we moved into the area a couple of years ago.
I cannot fault this place at all, our dog is a nervous nelly when it comes to vet visits but all the team go above and beyond caring for her during her visits and make her feel at ease every time. All the staff are incredibly welcoming and lovely!

The ‘best’ Vet’s in town. Your business has so much integrity, professionalism, knowledge and kindness. I am always greeted with a smile and the follow up care after any surgeries is fantastic. You always get to the bottom of the problem and explain everything clearly and calmly.
We have two dogs that you look after and they love coming and seeing you and the girls. Both dogs have come to you since they were puppies.

The first time I came here I had a great experience and decided to move my pups care over, even though you were a little more expensive than my previous vet. Today that was undone unfortunately.
Whilst the world is dealing with the pressures of COVID, we are all learning how to cope with constantly changing rules. I didn’t expect to arrive today and be shouted at & addressed like a toddler. I had received the instruction to wait in the car, but as my dog tends to go to the toilet in the vets every time and there was no one around, I quickly let him go to the toilet on the lead before going to get back in car. You didn’t need to yell at me from the office door that I was not allowed outside of my vehicle when there was clearly no social distancing rules broken.
Certainly didn’t put me in a good mood to then charge me the amount that you do.
Always appreciate the care you give the pup, could just do with a lesson on addressing customers!

Hi Sally it’s very sad to hear that we offended you., and we sincerely apologise. During COVID and the higher restrictions we were making every effort to keep our staff and clients safe from infection. We had earlier had a number of clients gathering in the carpark at a time when no more than 2 people were legally allowed to be in the area. Our staff had been spending almost half of their day organising safe transfer of pets into the hospital. We do apologise that you weren’t made aware of the need to stay in your car. We hope to be able to continue to offer excellent care and service to you and your pets.

I had to take my two elderly parents and their equally elderly cat to this practice on Monday 10th February.
Helpful ReviewI had never been there before, but my parents are now at Bethanie aged care…..it seemed the best and closest .
The staff were so sweet and compassionate, they took time with mum and dad through the very sad process of putting their precious boy to sleep..nothing was too much trouble.
If I lived closer I would take all of my fur babies to that vet clinic.
No hesitation.

We have nothing but the highest praise for all of the team at Yanchep Veterinary Hospital, our beloved Spoodle Shiloh was off colour and definitely showing signs of being in pain, Sam and the team quickly discovered a cracked tooth that had developed an infection resulting in an abscess under his left eye, he was quickly and efficiently treated at a reasonable cost. Including followup medication and a phone call a couple of days later to see how he was doing, followup visit revealed all is healing very well, we highly recommend these guys

As a wildlife carer I have been to several vet clinics around the Northern Suburbs of Perth & have been very disappointed by the lack of knowledge & interest in birds, exotics & native animals. I was very happy to finally find a vet willing & able to check my pet bird & happy to help with any other wildlife that comes into my care. All the staff were friendly & welcoming, including “Jerry” the clinic cat. 🙂
