Reviewed on GoogleSuper friendly and helpful team making you and your dog feel comfortable. Small but very clean vet clinic and they make sure your dog has its own space when entering and leaving consult rooms. Definitely recommend moving to them if you become a local.

Reviewed on GoogleAbsolutely one of the very worst vets I have ever seen.
Helpful Review 2They were disrespectful and did not even provide me with an option to help my dog who is about to go blind.
Do not book here, I was charged $78 for a consultation which went for a total of 30 seconds.
The referral I was given, was closed and did not even help my dog in any way.
My very first and last experience ever coming to this vet.

Reviewed on GoogleGreat experiences at all my appointments here. They also see some small ‘exotic’ pets like rabbits.
Like all other vets at the moment, it’s hard to get an appointment and I don’t think they are seeing new clients.
They helped sort cremation for a rabbit and were fantastic about it. I really appreciated the admin who removed her from the vaccination and check-up reminders, as we have several rabbits. I still get the reminders for my others, but kudos for your good record keeping, as I don’t think I’d have handled a vet check-up reminder after her death very well!
Can definitely recommend them for cats and rabbits, we’ve seen several of the staff over the years and had great care with all of them.

Reviewed on GoogleMy aunty went there a week ago because her vet that does home visits is away on holidays. She was first accused of being late despite arriving there 5 minutes early, she was then asked to wait outside for a lady who arrived for her later appointment to be seen first whom arrived later than my aunt. My aunt obviously got back into her car & drove off as she was in disbelief that these people’s first impressions are of unprofessionalism & discriminatory. We will NOT recommend this place.
We have been going to Rhonda at Yarraville Village for many many years & are very impressed with her friendliness & professional etiquette. If she wasn’t too busy my aunt would’ve gone to her instead.

Reviewed on GoogleWe do not tend to leave negative reviews but as a vet who care for the vulnerable animals it is important for people to know genuine experiences.
After moving into a close by suburb we changed our vet from our previous amazing vet to here, after reading all the positive google reviews and we really regret the decision.
Our first experience with them was to get Ollie checked for his feet licking and we thought of being cautious and getting it checked. This was recorded as “dermatitis” in his medical file. He never had any skin conditions for 1 and half years of his life until this point and 6 months later he still does not. They didn’t do any follow up check ups or confirmed this via a test, just carelessly reported it so.
Our next experience was to get Ollie’s routine teeth cleanup at 2 years. For which he had to go through general anaesthesia. Before dropping Ollie off at the clinic I asked nurse not to feed him anything strange as any dog will react to strange food. No responsible dog owner will let their dog eat anything. The nurse recorded this as an “allergy”. Did not explain to us it’s normal to feed pets after anaesthesia, nor did they explain what kind of food they will feed etc. She however took time to explain all the add ons we can add for extra $$ to the routine dental cleaning procedure. If it was explained we would have of course said yes. When picking him after the procedure she told us that it is normal to have bit of diarrhoea which ollie did. And again had recorded this as Ollie having an episode of diarrhoea rather than reacting to general anaesthesia.
When ollie was 1 year he had a diarrhoea episode which was going around amongst pups in our local council area at the time. He was admitted to lort smith emergency where he received the best care. But due to this we had to clarify with our insurance he doesn’t have an ongoing diarrhoea issue.
During the dental clean up session Ollie was at the clinic for duration of a whole day, and when asked to do a check up on him at the same time they refused to do so and asked us to make a different appointment for that. Despite the inconvenience of doing so we complied. In our next appointment they told us Ollie is perfectly healthy but they previously recorded all that’s mentioned above. Again just by physical examination and word of mouth but not by medical tests.
All this is to say that these kind of careless recording affect things like pet health insurance etc that can get really caught up on such wordings. When tried to discuss this situation they were really unhelpful and was not willing to understand where we were coming from and accused us of wanting to change medical history. Which we found to be really offensive. We did NOT ask to do such a thing, Ollie did not have a medical diagnosed history of “allergies” or “dermatitis” nor there were any tests done to prove this. All we wanted proper respectful communication to clarify this. The vet also said if we want to discuss further pay for a longer appointment which was extremely rude and was so money minded. One such incident would have been fine but repeated incidents as this are just not acceptable.
Reading extremely rude responses to other negative google reviews says a lot about their attitude towards criticism too. Highly disappointed.
We immediately changed our vet back to our old vet and will not be going here again nor will we recommending them to anyone. There are amazing vets and hospitals like Lort smith hospital and we highly advice on picking them if you can have an appointment rather than picking Yarraville vet just because they have appointments, like we did. Highly regret that decision.

Sorry to hear that but we don’t change medical histories.
Helpful ReviewI have since had a conversation with our staff. It seems you have been very rude and have asked us to falsify records for your own benefit. We do not do this for anyone.
We are happy to send your unedited history to the vet of your choice.
Return the favour by not coming back.
