    This place has been a Godsend for my senior dog. I tried a few vets after he got out of ICU from a severe bout of pancreatitis and meningitis and Sydney Animal Hospital at Norwest have been by far the best. Dr Stephen Mansour has been amazing. He performed minor surgery without general anaesthetic to avoid complications and put me onto the Libre scan product which has made managing my diabetic dog’s sugar levels a million times easier. I’m sure this place has added years to my pet’s life.

    I have being coming up with Dudley for 12 years and have never had any problems. The staff are always friendly, and let me tell you Dudley has never been an easy dog to deal with and yet the staff are able to deal with him in a very professional manner.
    21/10/2019, Well it was that time of the year again and Dudley didn’t disappoint, up too his usual agro self, as I walk thru’ the Vet’s door I sing out your worst nightmare has arrived, and poor Dr. Armin Yarandpour drew the short straw this year, he was great with Dudley and all went well, and we all went home with our finger’s intact.
    Today the 2nd Jan 2021 we took Dudley to the Vet, as he had been unwell for a week, and we received the devastating blow that he has damaged Kidneys due to old age, we have taken him home with medication and to give him a lot of love and more care. He has done well for his age 13years and 10months. 5th January 2021, It is with great sadness that we announce Dudley passed away peacefully this morning, we will miss him so much. RIP Dudley.

    Wanted to try a place that had individual kennels as my dog was afraid of other dogs. Staff was nice, but place smelled and my dog had diarrhoea after coming back and is a fussy eater ever since coming back.

      We are sorry to hear that Kukky had some diarrhoea after his stay with us. Unfortunately this is reasonably common when animals board in kennels. A change in environment, with other dog noise, smells and a change in diet can cause some stress induced gastroenteritis. We also noted that Kukky was fussy, but did enjoy freshly cooked chicken while here.

      If Kukky is still not 100% please give our team a call on 8883 0411 and speak to Teresa our Manager at Norwest.

    Thank you for taking care of my cloudy boy while we’re away. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The clinic is very neat and clean. When I picked up my dog after few days, they handed my boy very clean and smell good. I will recommend this clinic for my family and friends that looking for pet boarding while they’re away. 🙃

    This place doesn’t care about you!!! Don’t go!
    We previously had a bad experience with a condescending vet the first time we went. She was rude, impatient and judgemental. We decided to give this place another go and requested a different vet this time, and on the phone expressed that we had a bad experience so please place us with a vet that has a reputation of being kind. The receptionist seemed to have understood the situation however when we arrived, (on time) we were seen by another vet and when we questioned why we aren’t being seen by the vet the receptionist appointed us, she said there was no such thing and it wasn’t her fault if that had happened (taking no accountability). She gave a nasty attitude and told us furthermore, if we wanted to see the vet that was appointed to us we needed to wait an hour.

    Don’t book with this place they don’t honour appointments nor care about you and your pet.

    The Sydney Animal Hospital Norwest reception and nursing staff are polite and professional and accomodating.
    The Vet Dr Anton was professional in his approach and super handling with my two cats who are usually quite shy. Anton showed compassion and warmth. I love knowing my animals are so well cared for by these awesome humans!
    A lovely clean Vet hospital/ clinic.

    Very disappointing experience at Sydney Animal Hospital Norwest. I have taken my dogs here before and have never had a problem until this weekend.

    My dog has never once shown any sign of aggression however because he is a large breed dog, they were adamant on muzzling him when sedating him. This was absolutely appalling and disgusting to even suggest as this would only stress him out as he has never worn one before… He is naturally calm at the vet and will let them touch, poke and prod him, however, they wouldn’t listen when we said he wasn’t aggressive in any way. After speaking to our regular vet about this experience they were also shocked as they had frequently referred patients here when necessary (however this will change).

    Then when we suggested to sedated him in his front leg because he is more calm if he can see what you’re doing the vet refused to listen and proceeded use his back leg. Not to mention this also hurt him as he yelped in pain which he had never done before (and this isn’t my dogs first rodeo with needles/sedation).

    And the final strike was on pick up the receptionists were rude and clearly oblivious as they were referring to our male dog as “her/she.” Would it kill you to show some compassion and reassurance to dog owners.

    All in all, will never return here and recommend the same for other pet owners as this vet has no compassion or care for the animals they see.

    Had been going to this vet for years, usually with great help & empathy from staff. Not too sure what’s changed recently but I took my cat here for vomiting, not eating, not drinking, not going to the bathroom and they sent me away to monitor as they were sure it was a behavioural. I monitored him for 24hrs with no improvement and took him back again the next day… continuing with the same symptoms but the vet was still convinced this was behavioural.

    That night I took him to the emergency vet at ARH Baulkham Hills where they admitted him straight away as his temp was 39.5 degrees and he was extremely sick & lethargic. ARH kept him for 2 nights and I picked him up on the Monday morning where they instructed me to bring him back to a regular vet for an ultrasound and to be hooked back up to an IV. I rang SAH in advance to organise an ultrasound and to have him hooked back up to fluids, Naomi was lovely and sympathetic and was ringing to see what she could do.

    I drove here regardless as he needed his IV reattached.. the other lady at the desk (didn’t catch her name) was SO rude! Arguing with me saying my cat had had an ultrasound when he hadn’t in the end said “well just take a seat then” – I then went in to see the vet as ARH suspected my cat had aspiration pneumonia. Vet flat out said to me “I know our name says hospital but we’re not a hospital” so basically my cat was dying and they couldn’t do a single thing to help… Saw the same vet all 3 visits charged $500 for an incorrect diagnosis and he didn’t even apologise for his incorrect diagnosis.

    I rushed him to SASH where they diagnosed him with pancreatitis and saved his life. I would never return to this vet as I was told to monitor my cat for another 5-7days even though he wasn’t eating, drinking, going to the bathroom. Overall extremely poor veterinary care & wouldn’t recommend.
