Spoke to the most disgusting woman on the phone. Was really concerned about my kitten who had been in for a surgery yesterday and tried to ask the woman on the phone a question, and she cut me off, said “If you want the service, pay for it” and hung up the phone. I understand if I was coming in for a consult with a vet that I’d have to pay, but I was asking a simple question that would’ve taken less than 30 seconds to answer, and it could’ve meant the difference between life and death for my animal.

We have been going to this vet for some time now , we have had a good relationship with this vet , we have both of our dogs getting taken care off for years and yes going to a vet isn’t cheap and especially after hours but that’s the cost of those services , I feel like most of these negative comments are because people can’t pay what was quoted and can get cheaper somewhere else so best they do that , not everyone is open after hours and available all the time like they are , so they can charge what they want , if I could select 10 stars o would , definitely go here but remember pets are cheap nor are humans .

Each time I have taken my babies there the vet is straight to the point with reasonable pricing & saved 1 of my babies in the past 🙂 today she stayed back on her own time to help my baby to make sure she was ok this vet needs a break of all the negativity give her a chance 💯 she is a honest lady not rude maybe people see honesty as rudeness these days I take my hat off to her to keep going ❤️

The Veterinarian only cared about money she charged me $270 for 10 min consultation, $1109 for sedation & $660 for stitches.
She would not treat my dog until payment was made. I was in distraught when bringing her in and this vet took complete advantage of that. She did not care for my dog at all just the money.
The vet was rude, arrogant & lied to us. We had to call police because she wouldn’t provide an itemised tax invoice. Please do not bring your pets here.

I found a injured cat so I decided to take it to the vet to get the medical care it needed as it was hurt I took it to Blacktown vets as it stated it was 24hours and it was late at night to be told by the vet nurse is the cat still alive I said yes it is she said I’m not taking it here take it to the animal referral hospital at baulkham hills I was totally disgusted with them turning this poor injured cat away it is there duty of care to help animals that’s why they have become veterans to have love and care for animals and this poor cat was hurt broke my heart to think this place could be so heartless absolutely disrespectful and disgusting😡😡😡😡😡😡

Thank you for posting this review. We open 24hrs for emergency services only. once booked in we call the vets. Vet will not be staying all night that is one of the reason they directed you. Also we do not get any grant or funds, donations at all.100% private owned. Also we do admit and alleviate pain and other services all on us without charging. We do hope you understand the position we are in. Council has no services after hours. as a citizen it is better to approach the council to accommodate your concerns. RSPCA is in Yagoona and they do not do any after hours services either

Found them very rude to speak to. They told me to bring my dog in without even knowing the reason I was calling or mentioning that there would be an after hours cost that was over 4 times the regular consultation fee. Ended up walking out, the waiting room looked really dirty too.

If you love your pets please do not take them to this place. $350 consultation, over $300 for injection, told our dog may have a virus, only to find out from another Vet it was much more than that!!!!!! These ppl care only about taking your money, and then diagnose wrongly!! Do your research. Unfortunately our situation was an emergency and no other vet open. Lesson learnt. PLEASE TAKE YOUR PETS ELSEWHERE.

my friend took her pet here urgently as she was so worried that her dog was not well, and they wouldn’t even look at her dog without talking about money..
they dont care about anyones pets, all they worry about is how they can rip people off..
after having a bad experience here, charging over $250 for only checking temperature and breathing and charging for “ after hours “ when its a 24hr vet hospital..
I purposely mistreat animals so they can get more money of people.

This vet clinic is completely heartless and do not respect you and your pets at all. They simply go out of their way to exploit and misled you to pay more for obscure and vague treatments that you don’t need. They have targeted my poor mother who cannot speak English and charged her $250 for just a check up that lasted 5 seconds!! They are not patient and simply try to take advantage of the vulnerable. If I could give them zero stars, I would certainly will. They not only misled my vulnerable husband but deceived him into paying more than $240 to only look at my sick dog without any medication given. They charged me an additional $165 for simply staying “after hours” when they fraudulently advertise that they open for 24 hours. They have broken my trust and didn’t disclose what services they would provide and greedily took a payment out of my pocket. I have still not received any care and treatment to my sick dog. Considering their business has misled, misinformed and deceived my husband, I would like to take legal action against the business. If you want to save your sick pet, never step foot in this unethical and dodgy business.

Went there once and never again. Now I found a vet for my girl and she is so well looked after! Took my puppy in after an emergency, refused to take him in until payment was done even though he was bleeding a lot and I was happy to pay but their greed for money could have cost my dog his life. Gave the incorrect medication (eye drops for an adult dog, he’s a 4 month old pup). Tried to overcharge as well and not to mention they gave out their unnecessary opinion on my dog breed. They have no care for animals, only money and this clearly shows. Absolutely pathetic.

I did read some of the reviews regarding vet Sharma. I am appalled by the nasty remarks to her address.
Helpful ReviewI know vet Sharma for 10 years now. She always treated my cats when they needed to. She always gave me the right advice and followed up on their recovery. She took the time to pet the cats and make them comfortable with her. Her hospital was / is always spotless clean in front and back.
She always treated me with respect. But I also treated her the same way. If you do not show respect, you cannot expect to be respected.
Her practice is not a charity, and you must pay for her services. Vet bills are not cheap. I took one of my cats to another vet before I met Sharma and the bills were very similar.
You must be prepared to spend money for your pet welfare.
Vet Sharma did always act and behaved in a professional manner. She knows her job, she is very good in discovering your pet’s health problem and treat it.
I have very high regards for her and her services. Finding out what is wrong with an animal is very difficult because he/she cannot tell where it hurts.
Thank you, vet Sharma, for your great work. I confidently recommend her to any pet owner.

Helpful ReviewI believe, along with other vets who have since treated my cat, that the treatment and surgery given to my cat was unnecessary and put her at risk.
Misinformation, money-grabbing and probably the worst communication skills possible.
They are linked to other vets in Sydney, namely Chester Hill vet where they are somehow even worse.

Today I took my budgie there for my appointment for 9:30am and I went there 9:25am and there was a male who asked me to wait outside which I did as I thought I am 5 minutes early. I waited outside till 9:35 and lady came outside and told me I need to wait more she didn’t even greet or apologize for wait as I was waiting outside in cold still I told her I will wait in my car and will come back which she said ok. After 5-10 minutes I went again and she opened the door and asked me to fill the form and I just asked do you have bird doctor which they told me night before while making appointment yes but after looking at place it doesn’t look like they have so she told me she is doctor and she is not bird specialist so I just confirmed like last night you said but she didn’t accept and asked me to decide if I want her or not and she went inside as she was doing some surgery. That time I thought that’s fine still she is vet so she will advise me something but I didn’t realize she wasn’t interested at all. She was super rude, unprofessional and no respect towards her guests as we are going to pay her not coming there for free service and I just went outside for 5 seconds to confirm with my partner which she asked me to think because dog was barking there she shut the door and told me my time is finished. If you don’t have patience or you can’t take all the appointments why you taking them on phone. I waited for 10-15 minutes outside without any complain and you can’t give me 5 seconds to confirm. I wish I could give you 0.

Took my cat there regularly, was told he needed surgery and quoted around 7k per surgery. Moved up the mountains, see another vet who also said surgery was needed, paid 1500 for the first surgery including 2 weeks of medication provided, 2nd surgery in about 6 weeks and quoted 1k for that one.

Mate you have to be fair, You got all your bill for $209. Where do you thing any one charge you $38.00 for medication, You went outside came back and to shout that we are making 300% profit margin at the premises. You had the option to choose your vet. You agreed for the treatment and to get all done for free?Try your your luck elsewhere. Furthermore you are trying to blackmail us saying you would write many reviews against the practice. This shows your intention. Next time go elsewhere and tell them inadvance you did this in this practice with your bill and ask for the profit margin so that they will know who you are. Hope you do not do this at Woolies or elsewhere?

Helpful ReviewTook a kitten that swallowed a stick was pulled out quickly agreed to the $240 consultation fee, was asked if i would like to quickly have a light sedation to see if the damage was bad which i agreed as it sounded like
a straight forward procedure, after antibiotics, and anti inflammatory shot
and oxygen i received an invoice for $1520. When questioned i was then told everything was triple price for an emergency which was never disclosed. After reading previous reviews found this a very common practice at this clinic. I have used many veterinary clinics but never treated this poorly, would stay well clear.

I had an exceptional experience with Dr Sivaji. My Husky x Staffy had been vomiting through the night and she saw me 6am. She met me at the door and took him in straight away and was upfront about the costs which I much appreciated rather than finding out at the end. She was in constant contact throughout the day with updates and was professional, friendly and warm. When I picked him up she took me through the X-rays and spent time talking with me. I am super impressed and appreciative of her prompt help today.

This Vet deservers NO stars. Took my dog while he was dying and she was so fixated on costs than the dog. Walked out $438 later which ONLY covered a consultation fee and anti-inflammitory shot, which suggests this place is a scam taking advatage of poeple in trumaa and emergencies that have NO other options. There was NO cpompassion shown for my dog while he was in pain , only cared about dollars.

We took our puppy here late Saturday today since he had a freak accident! We were paniced but the vet took him in and performed the necessary surgery to remove the impaled object. She explained the costs of everything broken down and the steps she needed to take so that we could understand the procedure and where our money was going. We picked him up the following morning and he is in good condition and on his way to recovery.

I highly recommend this vet, she always took a good care of Max our boy. 2am…3am… every time we went there she was straight to give first aid . Our boy had pancreatitis for a long time and she kept him well until he just couldn’t take it anymore. We took Maxy to her on Friday, Saturday but sadly he passed away on Sunday. Such a compassionate person, a caring vet, she didn’t even charge us for his last visit. Thank you so much for always being there for our boy and us.

Cannot speak for the other reviews of people on here. However, they saved my cats life this weekend. Very grateful to the vet here and glad I took her in despite the bad reviews making me feel a little nervous. They acted quickly to bring my cat back to health and were very communicative throughout, calling me with updates. We went to this vet with our cat and spent about $800 .. this included worming tablets, blood test, consultation and some medication. I went to another vet and got the same plus more (the blood test was much more in depth and we spent $400. I will not be back here again, but I cannot fault them for anything other than cost.
