Our precious dog Danny was injured by a horse on Easter Monday. The care and attention we all received at Hamilton Vetcare was wonderful. And every visit since on his slow recovery has been informative, efficient and just plain easy.

Absolutely wonderful professional practice who have proven their worth with bringing one of my fur babies back from the brink and maintaining the health of my other fur child. The were always happy to update me on my pets progress to enable me to make decisions. Could not hope for more in the care of my pets.

The visit to this Vet was disappointing as the trainee vet did not want to do a follow up on my kitten who sprained his leg after a fall, and could not tell by feeling his leg if it was broken and after several xrays, Ihe was sent home with just pain relief for the next week.With little to no advice on after care. If you take a pet here ask to see the senior Vets and be ready to pay expensive bill for consult. There are no governing body for Vets and they can freely charge whatever they want. Be aware.

I love bringing my pets to Hamilton Vetcare. They are a very professional and kind clinic. We have been coming to Vetcare ever since Scott and Lauren started their business. They have been there for our animals offering great advice and have also been there for us in the middle of some pretty hard times, like having to say good bye to a fur family member or delivering kittens by C section! The team at Vetcare are an amazing bunch of people and I wouldn’t hesitate to tell you they are the best!

We have been attending Hamilton Vetcare since they opened in Gray st & before that when they were in Cox st now they are in French st & its a most impressive modern facility. Dog number 3 about to become another friend! All the vets here are wonderful & caring. No way would I take my precious dogs anywhere else. Thanks so much to the team.

while on holiday out of state my dog (Chase) was hit by a car and rushed by my Dad to Hamilton Vetcare. I was called by my mum as soon as I landed in Sydney to let me know what had happened. ( I will never know the full story as it was quite upsetting) Immediately I rang the Vet and Dr Scott was very good at explaining what was going on. Abdominal hemorrhaging, bleeding from 1 ear and the most alarming was that his pupils were not responding to light. Dr Scott was amazing. He told me Chase was heavily sedated, was on heavy painkillers and they were monitoring him very closely. The whole team were realistic in Chase’s chance of surviving the night (a 10% chance of survival was generous). It took me about 30 minutes of crying and calling different people to decide what I would do. I could continue on with my connecting flight to Cairns, or I and the friend I was travelling with could forfeit those tickets, purchase tickets home and then drive the 3.5hrs home. We took the latter, finally arriving in Hamiton just after midnight. I took a shirt in the next morning as soon as they opened so that he would have something that smelt like me with him even if he wasn’t conscious. As I walked in the girls knew who I was there to see ” he’s a bit groggy but he’s standing up” well I lost it! 😭😭🙏🙏🙏 and apart from being a little bit overzealous about everything, once his hair grows back, you would never know. 2 sleepovers in the clinic with a live feed available for the staff to monitor the patients and a whole lot of love, compassion and straight up skill saved my 10 month old Kelpie… and yes he was named by his breeder because he loved chasing things and yes we now have a dog proof gate at the house end of our driveway. I know it’s your job to care for animals but when you do something you love and you get to make such a difference in people’s lives, There is no measure as to how thankful we are.

Dr Anita was very caring and understanding while providing a check up for my dog Codi. Codi gets nervous and stresses at the vet. I appreciate Anita taking the time to care for Codi by sitting down with me on the floor to be at Codi’s height for his examination.

We adopted the most beautiful cat from this vet clinic. The cat had prior been left alone with its two kittens on the door step of the clinic and so they decided they would take them in. I can’t thank Hamilton Vetcare enough for their compassion and care to their patients which lead to me adopting a lovely young cat.
